- EdithI had a call & 'fell' for this, much to my horror when I realised what I had done!
To be fair to the company, when I complained that I had agreed to a price of £14.95 & they had taken £240, they DID refund me my £225 after I sent back the unwanted tablets back.- Caller: Sandawellbeing

- Jackie| 3 repliesHave received several calls from this number trying to sell me pomegranate pills to detox my system. He speaks with an indian accent but says his name is Gordon Smith and he is doing a health survey for the Wellness Centre in Buckingham. The first time he said he was Dr. Gordon Smith. Said if I take the tablets to detox my system it will benefit my asthma and in nine months time I will be able to throw away my inhalers! Wanted credit card details but I told him I thought I should see my doctor first then phone him back if I was interested. He gave me the above number and extention 0491.

- frank moranhe said his name was Gladson selling Rose X giving his address as 2187 Buckingham MK18 9BD. what he did not say was it is a P.O. Box number. When it put the name in it comes up scam on Google. I have been to the police but up to now as far as my case goes he has done nothing wrong because I would not pass him my bank details.
- Brian Morison| 5 repliesHad a lengthy call today from a charming Asian-sounding lady called 'Elizabeth' (she giggled when I said what a nice simple name!) After much discussion (I am not good at cutting off marketting calls!) I was advised to buy Pomy ( a pomegranate extract) for £14.95, greatly discounted because I was a pensioner from £39 or £40. I said I must think about it, and without any pushiness she left me with the hope that I would phone her back on this number by Monday.

- Nick FarmerLike Brian Morison, I had a call from the same Asian lady called Elizabeth apparently doing a survey of OAPs and their problems with arthritis. Most of these 'surveys' end up as sales pitches, but she didn't ask me for any credit card details or any other personal information but explained about the benefits of rosehip extract. It was only when I asked her what products she was about to try to sell me that she told me about her offer of 30 tablets for £14.95 down from £32.99. She didn't try to push it, perhaps because in answer to her question was I worried about cancer (putting the heebies into a recipient's mind?) I told her about the two deaths in my family last year. Perhaps this Elizabeth has a glimmer of conscience; not a good enough scammer for the job!

- diavoliTevin or Steven called my father, same pomegranate based nonsense. When I decided to talk to him he told me he represented the "Wellness Centre", when asked where he had got the phone no. from he said that someone had referred it to them. Obvious scam, and as soon as you hear "pomegranate" or "Wellness Centre" mentioned in a cold call, very politely tell them where to insert their pomegranates.
- Caller: Wellness Centre
- RedsetterI recieved a call an hour ago from 'Gordon'. He was selling 'Aspomy' a water soluble extract of pomegranate skin for £16.00 per month x 8 - 10 months. When I refused bank details he ended the call after saying I would get written details of the product in 8 to 10 days.
