A lengthy phone call from an Indian chap, very polite and plausible about joint care, said I could speak to the doctor, Dr Rachid Brown, who discussed the merits of Rosex in great detail. After stupidly giving my bank account details, thinking I would try it for a month- I so badly want my aching knees to stop and allow me to continue my sport- She said I would need it for 6months. I said I couldn't afford that much and wanted to cancel. She then said I could have 2 bottles and she would give me one free. It looks as if I have been scammed out of £35-If I receive the Rosex I'll let you know. By the waY their office is supposed to be 32, Ballmoor, Celtic Court, Buckingham MK18 1RQ

I WILL NEVER AGAIN BE SO GULLIBLE

Once again a call from a well spoken polite Asian individual called Lino ext 0426. He appeared to be very knowledgeable on medical matters. I was suspicious at first but his easy manner of speech and general approach lessened my anxiety. We discussed various health matters then he turned the conversation around to Pomy. It appears that £14.95 will buy me 30 tablets.  I said that I would consider matters and contact him. Having read all the above posting I shall not make the call.

My advice to anyone receiving similar calls is just say no.

I had a call today from this wellbeing he went on & on about me sounding as though i was in my 40s rather than 64 he kept on about his granma who is in her 80s who took Rosex & feels 25 years younger & he said i would feel the same by Christmas & i would be sending him a Thank you letter, a Christmas card & a box of chocolates to thank him for putting me on to Rosex he said because i was a pensioner i could have 30 tablets worth £30 for £14.95 his name was David Sander & he said his extension number was 2007 then he started asking how i would like to pay & said i could set up a Direct Debit all i had to do was give him my Bank Details so then i said i would have to think about that so he said why so i just hung up on him so he tried phoning again so i just ignored it so he did give up i would say he was an Eastern origin.

I too have nuisance calls barred, or did. I've had a lot of calls lately so think my 'barring' to be time-limited. I didn't know that! Time to renew/check it.

I got a call a very pleasant lady from the same place called Leah. She remained pleasant even when I told her that nice as she is I have a policy of never giving out my details to someone who phones me (I even refused my own bank and that was a genuine call!) She gave me her contact details to call after I'd checked them out.

They're good! Good diction (Asian accent), good information and I assume they adopt the "softly softly" method of selling which is actually quite refreshing after call centres that make you wait a few seconds before they speak, have immense background noise and push to get your attention/money/etc. BUT I never buy like that over the phone or online unless it's a compnay that I know and contact myself.

I'm now going to check out Rosehip myself, it sounds good!!

Today I recieved a call also from the wellness centre from a really nice aisian lady Ruby Jones. After asking me about my health etc(I had filled in a survey some time ago for a well being questionare),and thought this was connected to it.When she realised I had no probs health wise apart from being overweight, she then targeted on that saying her Granny was obese and she used to take something similar to Aloe vera liquid. This apparently is excellent for removing toxins and excess fat...Anyway as I was a senior citizen she could offer me a discount.Normal amount was £42 95 and I could buy at £24.95 and it would be on my doorstep in 7-10 days.Sounds good and I do know aloe vera has certain properties to aid health internally and externally so I was interested.Gave me an address 32 Ballmoor Celtic Court, Buckingham Estate Buckingham,MK181RQ.Then asked me how I would like to pay.I said I dont have a bank account myself(which I dont)and I would have ask hubby later. She was most surprised that I didn't and will call me back later.Bit sus!!.so hubby said go on site and I cannot find aloe vera that aids weight loss.so here we are.By the way I sound extremely young for my age (flannel).I do hope older people are not taken in.I could have been quite easily.!!

I got a lengthy call from Sanda Wellbeing this afternoon. The Asian chap was most persistant that I needed a health supplement for my joints - he even told me I was overweight!  He offered some Rosehip tablets at a cut price and wanted my bank card details. I said I don't give this information over the phone to strangers and he tried to reassure me that it was ok and my details would be kept secret. He gave me the companys phone number and address. I got the hard sell and he was quite put out when I didn't respond to his demands. I have since google the company and found horror stories of elderly people being duped out of hundreds of pounds. Please beware.

my grandmother had a TERRIBLE experience with SANDAWELLNESS.......this is a complete SCAM company...my grandmother being an elderly person does not really realise what she does.....when she recieved the call from Sandawellness she assumed that the call was from her hospital and she was conned for 149quid......and being an old aged pensioner now she is in a complete shocked state of mind......when she recived her unsophisticated parcell which she did not expect...there was a letter thanking her for buying the parcell which she did not agree for ...and the letter contained the name thanking you Mr Mahesh Matta customer care manager....but when i called in their number ...i was never put on to Mr mahesh matta for my query....this Scammed company should be shut.....BEWARE OF SUCH CRIMINALS CALLING THEMSELVES AS WELLNESS MANAGERS.....they are nothing but CRIMINALS

I had a very lengthy phone call last night from Olivia from Wellness centre Buckingham, telephone number 02086190075 private ext 0734.  She was overly polite and complimentary.  I am 48 and she told me I sounded half that age and must have a very loving husband who looks after me. She was trying to sell me Pomy tablets to combat menopause symptons and to detox my system.  When I told her I'd like to think about it, she asked why and when she could call me back.  I told her I would do some research and call her back on her private ext number that she had very kindly given me. She wasn't impressed at all and slammed the phone down.
