I have received about 6 calls from this number on 11th October, which I have decided to block. I must admit I refuse to answer calls that I do not know.

This number keeps calling !

This number keeps calling me, different times of the day and sometimes several times a day!

As a rider to the above, following last night's call I just - 11.05 Sunday morning! - got another call from this number.  So I rang one of the director's (Didier Truchot) homes, listed under his wife Anne as a Paris number:
0146367500, to express my displeasure.  

However, most of these suckers take good care to conceal their own numbers - while playing fast and loose with ours.  But that still leave the complaints letter and the odd cordial visit to their leafy abodes.

Have had several calls from this number usually aroud tea-time. I have stopped answering the phone at this time as it is always from a call centre.

got it today right now, bit worrying, asked for muy postcode and gave it, (inshallah) nothing will happen. Will it?

I started to get calls from 02088618682 at this point so stared to do some research and ended up here  looks like it’s Ipsos-MORI so now I not it’s a possible scam I will not answer my phone ! They only phone my mobile at the moment but have them now under don’t answer!  This link might be helpful

I've had about three calls from this number in the past week, though it was a different person each time.  They claim to be doing research.   Each time, I asked them how they had got my number, and was told that it was random-generated by a computer.  I then told them that I was ex-directory and also TPS-registered.  Each time I got the same very slick response (it was almost word-for-word the same in each case, so I suspect the callers have been trained to say it when challenged), which was on the lines of "TPS only covers marketing calls.  This is research so we're exempt from TPS regulations."

Which suggests that TPS rules, although good as far as they go, evidently don't go far enough.

One of the callers in particular was very persistent, even after I'd said I wasn't interested - which leads me to wonder if they're paid by results.  In which case, if I get another call, I might ask the question - and if the answer is Yes, then ask "So what's my fee then?"

In the meantime, thank you all for your advice on this site - I will try one or two of your suggestions!

I am one of four sisters, we're all junk eaters and binge drinkers - but at the moment I'm the thinest. One of my sisters works for one of these phone pest companies blow me ifshe didnt ring me randomly she has no chance of ever becoming the thinnest as she sits on her fat [***] all day i told her to go and get a gastric band and tie it round her tongue hahahaha

I've found out from BT a way that you can block them calling you by ringing 14258 then put phone number in then add pin number 1234. The that stops them be able to call you at all

OMG this number calls me when I sleep at night and following morning. I dont have opportunity to tell person what I think about hr/him as when I pick up the phone I hear only silence. I got 8calls in one day.

Had two calls today (23/11/08) & two yesterday. Didn't recognise the number so I Google'd it and, via this website, am much the wiser. I won't be answering it now. Many thanks!

I had them call me, I told them I suffered from a serious mental health disorder that included thoughts of revenge and violence towards anyone I percieved had hacked me off and that I often stopped at nothing to hunt these people down!! NO more calls received !!!!

Ive just sent them a message explaining that i dont care if they are not selling im registered with TPS because I do not want to recieve calls from tossers like them !

Just taken a call from them. Left the phone beside the phone, not hanging up, and the call still seems to be open. So far 12 minutes racked up. Will probably leave phone like this all night. That'll run them up a nice 'phone bill.
