Could not speak proper english and did not understand a word she said.
just stated I was not interested

Received four calls from this number within last 10 days. Upon answering the caller hangs up but if I answer without speaking there is a silence on the line as if the caller is waiting for me to speak but then eventually hangs up. Only once have I ever heard anyone speak, it was a male voice but there was nothing distinguishable about it. I've tried calling and texting the number back but all I get is a recorded message saying this number is not recognised. Any help in finding out who this is would be very much appreciated as this is starting to drive me mad!

this number has been calling me for the past week but i have missed all of them but one and when i call back it says 'this number has not been recognised'. today when i answered the person on the other end definitely said the word f*cking muffled another word and then hung up. charming.
i would like to know who this is so any ideas would be great.

i am on 02 network and live in london if that helps.

this stupid number has been calling me every day for 2weeks. its really winding me up...i havnt answered incase its sum sort of scam. is there anyway i can just block the number! you can do that right? it wakes me up every morning!

This number has rang me three times now within the past week. The first time I didn't answer, because I didn't know whether it might be some kind of scam or something. I didn't want to answer and then them somehow take some of my credit. The 2nd time it rang, I answered and it went dead. I didn't speak. The 3rd time, I spoke, and it kind of echoed what I said back to me. It was really strange, and I hung up. So please, if anyone has any answers, please share! In the meantime, I'm going to try and get this number blocked.

this damn number has been ringing me for at least 2 months, and everytime while i am school. :@ i pick up, they hang up, since the second time they rang me i havnt picked up.

i have been reading forums about this number, it is not linked atall to 02 company, even though the number is rang to only 02 network phones.
i have read people ring up 02 and ask, they do not recognise the number and its not linked to them, but they cannot do anything about it because the number is used from an unknown company.

i have no advise to give to people because they wont stop ringing me. im sorry.

This number is not O2 I didn't answer any of the calls. They have been ringing me for the past couple of weeks and today when they rang instead of answer I pushed the busy button on my phone. Then a second later I got a text from +2202 saying that I missed a call from O2.

They aren't O2 because it would have said that the sender is O2 instead of +2202. And if you check your messages from O2 the number is 2220

I just got this phone call today, i dont normally answer to O2 anyway...but it comes up on my screen saying "02202 - info hotline"

i asked aqa they are apparantly a unknown source attempting to get your bank details. they are not affliated with 02 & if they ring again it shlould be ignored and reported to 02 customer services!! i have had 2 missed calls

I have just had a call from this number too - I didnt answer but have reported it to o2

Also got this call twice now this week.  I am going to report it to O2 now

Earlier this week O2 changed me to a better tarriff, three hours after O2 sent me a text telling my they had finished changing my tarrif I got my first phone call from this 02202 number.

They have been calling me daily ever since.
Judging by this site, I am now stuck with them until I change my number again.

Coincidence? I doubt it.

Got this call a couple of times in the last week claiming to be O2. I take everything with a pinch of salt these days, so I turned down all the offers they made me and didn't give them any personal info. They were not happy and were very rude towards me.

Rang O2 to see if the call was legit, they said they had no records of calling me and that it was a either a prank or a scam.

Bottom line: Don't answer this call. O2 has confirmed it is a scam.

I get this too, they phoned me once yesterday and just now today. It kept ringing for longer this time. I never answer phone numbers that aren't in my phone book, simple as.

I'm changing phone numbers tommorow too so that should be ok.

Had 2 calls this morning.  First call I answered and it was a man who hanged up as soon I started talking in my deep male voice.  They called again and I couldn't be bothered to answer it up.   Now I just want to block the number so they do not disturb me.

I'm getting these calls almost daily, thought I better check it out before I answer it. Good job I did!

My daughter has been getting these missed calls since beginning of May, they are every day and while she is at school. She knows not to answer them. The question that worries me is, how did they get her mobile number.

I keep missing calls from this number, and when i ring back get the "number not recognised" message
It does not deduce any credit to ring them back, soemthing iw as worried about
come on o2 you usually have great customer service, realise there is an issue and ban this number from calling people on your network already >_<

I have had this number call me a couple of times too, I have never answered it, but today they left a voice message, it sounds like its in some busy switchboard office, and a man with a nothern accent aid 'hey mate, I've got a machete'. I was alarmed to say the least, I am reporting this to the police now after reading lots online about this, and contacting O2. there must be something that can be done to stop this. I don't even know how they got my number, only friend and family have it, I don't use it for anything else.
