THIS NUMBER IS TORTURING ME. REALY ANNOYING! THEY RING ME EVERY 2DAYS AND JUST HANG UP.... ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER AND HOW I CAN STOP THIS???!?!?!?!? HELP!

i had a missed call on my mobile (O2 network) from this number yesterday but when i tried to call it back on the landline it just went dead. today i received a call from it and answered and while i thought i could here muffled voices in the backround, there was nothing audible and they then quickly hung up. i won't be answering any calls from this number in the future, but i owuld love to know who the hel it is and how they got my number!

I've been called by this number 4 times now in the last 2 days.

\'m not picking it up but i'm tempted to give whoever's on the other end a bollocking for not getting a hint.

Just had a call from this number myself, first time though, and I didn't answer it because I was a work. Look like I can look forward to more calls. It had no affect on my credit though, even when I went to call it back.

Just had a call from them saying they were O2 and had a really special deal for me lol he said calls were recorded for security and training and asked me some security details when he asked my name I gave a different one and then he said thanks for that at which point he went to go on about this offer so I asked which dept he was calling from he didnt tell me so I hung up and rang o2 they told me this number was not linked to them BEWARE PPL!!!

this is really starting 2 annoy me,all i get is call after call from this number. im on o2 aswel. does any1 know how 2 block them? should i answer n talk or not answer at all? how did they get all our numbers?

A big BIG SCAM!  I think o2 must have insider.... worries me i pay using my card over phone....

the questions 02202 ask ;date of birth, bank details, postcode, pass word!!!

why not save time and just rob a bank.... I just tell them a load of lies...

A little bit of revenge!!! how can  these people sleep at night.... have heard fraud squad are now involved...... calls coming from abroad....

i have been geting a call from this number every day , but it rings on my college times, so i dont have chance to pick the call.but after reading all this .i am not going to pick up the call .


what do they get by calling us?

Spoke to O2 Customer Services today, and they have said that the call is from O2 Sales, to offer upgrade and new deals. The guy said it is a "side project of 02". He said the call is not important in the slightest. He said it was an O2 caller.

Very good customer service.

Spoken to O2 Customer Services 2.00pm 6/11/08 they confirmed that this is an automated call from their sales team. They have, following a bit of a verbal, agreed to stop calls to my number. Asked why there was no-one to talk when the calls were made I was told that this 'was automated and obviously no-one was available to speak'. Asked for their complaints dept - they said I would have to write in!

So folks bombard their customer services dept!!! They can stop this.

The number 02202 is nothing to do with o2. As working in customer services our sales team if there calling out it is from a witheld number, so in regards to mick, someone has clearly fobbed you off, there is no way for us unfortunatley to stop these calls coming through to you. Dont give any details to anyone who calls you up and claims to be o2. As someone stated earlier on in the thread, these companies get youre number from a random number generator.

I recieved a call from 02202 and was told take they were my netwrok provider and then they hung up?

I have had about 15 calls off these [***] now, i didnt answer 1 of them, but they just phoned up and i answered, and they said their computer system was playing up and would phone back in 10 mins, and so i decided to check them out on the web to see if they were who they said they were, and clearly not! when they phone back im going to tell them where to go!!

I was getting these calls quite frequently myself until one day they rang when u cancel the call to stop it comming threw well I have a thing on my phone where u can add the number to a Reject list and then they cannot get through. It hasn't happened since. Im happy about that

i received 10 calls in 5 day. one of the calls was in school (im a 14 yr old student) and i answered it, there was nothing, i said hello in a stupid voice and a woman started talking sayin she is from 02 'how can she help' but she was stuttering in a nervous way so i hung up. please bomb the people who are calling me!!!!!

i found a missed call from this number earlier, thought it seemed a bit suspicious so whacked the number into google and found this site. i hope i dont carry on getting these calls? im on O2 aswell.

This is a scam. claiming to be 02, they offer you free texts, i agreed last time and my free texts from 02 stopped, and it cost me for any calls or texts i made. i was strangley using another network and had to get a new sim card (luckily) with the same number, its a scam company taking 02's customers. DONT ANSWER ANY OF THE CALLS.

yyaaaaay!!! im not alone!! ive been enduring missed calls for about a week before i decided to googlewhack the number! i havn't answered any of them (in fear it might take my credit or something) but from what people are saying ive had phone calls asking me about my hpone contract about to expire and would i like an update and all that from random numbers!
