this number called me today and just wondering if ya new who it was?? xx

as picked and listened there was no answer,
frequently i have recieved calls form this number but only once picked up,
whenever i look at my phone between 1-4 times a month i have a missed phone call from the number 02202 who is it.?

I to am getting these calls however only on my PAYG phone and not my Contract both are on o2. Dont undersatnd what is going on and o2 should get to grips with finding out who is doing this and put a stop to it quick smart.

Think its fair enough for fiona and jimbo to say that. Scumbags taking peoples credit or even just the hassle. They should die =)

I have received two missed calls this week from an 02202 number, the first time I had to pay to receive a txt message advising me I had a voicemail.  I then paid to listen to my voicemail but there was just silence on the other end of the phone.  Now I have checked this out I realise that it must be a scam and want to know if anyone can tell me how to block this number?

I keep getting these phone call for a week now and the other day they left me a voicemail but no 1 said anything all i could hear was people talking in the background like in a office or something. To be honest it is getting quite annoying now so i have added it to my reject list and also emailed O2 telling them about it cause apparently they can block it for you.

I've been onto o2 customer services twice this week as I am now getting bombarded with calls from this number.  It is definitely not o2.  Been told under no circumstances not to answer it.  They are investigating, please report all calls to o2 customer services.

So LBM, you work for them do you? funny how only you get good deals and everyone else just gets harassed.

They have been ringing me all week and I answered today. He said his name was Tim and was calling on behalf of O2 to satify their customers. He asked me a few questions about my name, phone make, tariff, address, d.o.b. And just generally asked if I was happy with O2.
After all the questioning, he said he would give me 50 free messages to any network. I got a text afterwards off O2_ .... stating I had the bolton.

I am really worried now if this is not O2, But this can't be a scam as they have charged me nothing

everyone gets deals. Only 3% of customers hang up. Btw we are now targeted. Last month we were not. So they will now focus on... In order of the following... contracts. simplicity contract. Simplicity pay an go. Pay an go tariff change. Free bolt on. Sold bolt on. The target is 8 simplicity pay an go. And 2 contracts. Good luck with our calls lol. Btw there are about 180 of us based in the altrincham site. And i guess what there about 4 or more sites. :-)

I have been called by this number 3 times in the last 2 days, i emailed 02 who told me that it was them and that i should ignore it and i have now blocked the number.

I have had several calls from this number.. After me getting it several months its beginning to calm down.. BUT.. now my father has been getting it - I hope they phone again so I can tell them where to shove it.

I have been receiving these calls from 022 02 for the past few weeks, many calls I have missed, 2 we have answered. 1st my partner answered & they told him they were 02 and tried to sell him a modem, 2nd time I answered they assured me they were 02 not a scam as I told them I knew they were. They said my number had a reward on the account, I said I doubt it as the number doesn't have an account - it is the second number on a business tarriff and not used by the main account holder. They told me the account holders name & that there were 3 phones on the account which is correct but i refused to give them any details when they asked for my postcode. I immediately called 02 who confirmed that they would not call any of the numbers on the business tarriff other than the main account holders, that they have not called me at all and that this number is not used by their marketing team. They have put a marketing from 02 block on my phone number but that won't stop these calls if as they say they are not from 02 - so what now? Ofcom say they son't deal with individual disputes or complaints so where do I go to report and block these people? - I'm really fed up of them now!

Hi my wife just had call from this number lady was Sarah Clifford from 02 Adviser and said for £15 month your get unlimited text calls and internet wife nearly fell for it glad I looked on here first

Its not a scam! Its O2 customer services, I've been getting calls from them because I complained about some little know all prat from o2. they give you free stuff for complaining.

Your sort of right... 02202 is used by lbm to call ALL o2 customers. When lbm call it could be any dept ie broadband. O2 retention. O2 upgrades etc. Its free stuff only if you get a call from o2 retention. How ever the retention script has changed and they are now targeted. So... They will now call you for a contract/tariff change if cant get you to do any of those THEN they give you free stuff. Like free mins/internet/tests for 3 months. O2 are the best you wont be screwed over unless the agent is a complete noob.
