02202
Report a phone call from 02202 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- GeoffI got a spare pay as you go SIM from O2 for a spare phone for the car to use in emergencies, have never called anybody on it or given the number to anybody (couldnt even tell you what the number is!) but after putting some credit on it I then started getting calls form 02202 which convinces me the number is connected to O2, cant be bothered to answer them.
- MelissaMy boyfriend received a call yesterday but missed it as he was in work. They called again today and when he answered it they hung up. I'm reporting this to O2 ASAP.
- RazzHow is it they can do this? They're worrying and annoying people, even scaring kids, for God's sake. We need tough legislation NOW to get rid of these scumbags once and for all. How hard can it be to track them down?
- Caller: Scammers
- MikeMissed a call from these just seconds ago, sounds like more morons to me.
- Caller: unknown
- Ruks| 1 replyI just got the call now. I hanged up straight away. I just typed on the internet the number and I see all these comments. :O They need to be stopped who ever they are.
- Mike - 18 Sep 2008 againJust received another call from this no and answered, male voice with typical office noise in background said it was O2 payg and asked if i was main user of the phone. I responded yes and they said the line was bad and couldn't hear me so hung up.
- Caller: 02 PAYG
- mr alessandroi' m trying to identify this number: it' s the second or third time that calls me and i' d like to know who he is..thanks!!
- pashaso some people say its a scam and some say its 02 marketing :\
its rang me at least twice a day for the last week, i havn't changed my 02 tariff for over a year so maybe they want me to upgrade or something. - AshleighThey have been ringing me each day this week starting on Monday (today is Saturday). I never answer it because I know it is not 02. I am with 02, however their Info Hotline is 2202 and this number is 02202. Whenever I reject this call, my balance always appears on my phone after, which suggests that they may charge you for answering. But I will not answer it to find out! I'm just going to keep on rejecting the call, see how long they keep attempting to ring me.
- dudeerjust missed a call from them today. clearly not 'o2 sales people'.
- Mini02202 - Info Hotline is the scam number, The people saying it's O2 marketing are getting the number confused with 2202 - Info Hotline, which is O2.
- eddI just got a call from 02202 as well and did not anwser it, I'm thinking it could be gov. Who knows but I don't pick up numbers I don't know! Could find out from oftel who it is!

- Bob02202 THIS NUMBER IS O2 CALLING? Don't be worried guys, I have checked with O2 myself and they’ve advised me exactly how it works.
O2 sales are calling us not just to sell you something (honest) but discuss your account, as O2 give free things like treats but they also give you best plan advice. So they can you help if they think you’re on the wrong tariff.
IMPORTANT BIT: My advice to you is, if like me you don't like giving information over the phone but you’re curious to find out what might suit you best OR what’ll give you these free minutes or text that they say. CALL O2 CUSTOMER SERVICES. They’re really good, I’ve had a great experience recently all to do with that number calling me, I got worried and called o2. I suggest you do the same and hopefully you'll be as chuffed as me, they saved me £10 a month because I was on the wrong tariff. Ha-ha well chuffed. Good luck!- Caller: O2
- anonymous003| 1 replyhello there...
I work for O2 at the retentions department (02202)in Altrincham with the Company LBM.
==============================================================================
and its my (our) job to call people to give them a QUICK FREE SERVICE REVIEW... (because we think that they might leave the network as their top ups have dropped)
(((we use Retention 20 DATA)))
==============================================================================
but there's is another department called the bolt-ons dept, same code 02208... just opposite us.
they deal with high spenders and all they do is sell bolt ons to try and help the high spenders
but they don't reduce tariff costs like we do
and they dont give free phones like we do.
(((They use Welcome Call 2 DATA)))
===============================================================================
===============================================================================
Some times we use the WC2 data and we give loads of free phones and change (reduce) a lot of tariffs
===============================================================================
===============================================================================
all we do is:
give you free minutes/txt
reduce calls charges
give birthday bolt-ons <--- not every one does this.
register your details so if you ever lost your sim you can still get your number back (along with credits of offers on the account)
free phones (sometimes)
maybe bolt-ons
if you get a call from this number answer it...
how Target btw is to make 36 happy customers per day or no comision!
unfortunatley some idiots do abuse and just hang up etc but as of today we all had a name and shame session... so this will happed less from now on

PS, answer it... be nice... and i promise you wont regret it- Caller: o2
- Dont worryTo put everyone mind at rest, it is a company called LBM, that works as a 3rd party for o2, to calls to see if they can offer you anything that may save you money,or a service that may give you a better deal, and sometimes even a free mobile phone. The person who said they work for o2,and said it is not o2, is not completly wrong,as it is not them directly, but a 3rd party calling on behalf of them.
- sales asisti have been getting these calls about 5 a week...now am thinking it might be the people who try to fish about the people's details of the phone pretending they one of the firms that needs something from you.and when i pick it up no one says anything
- Caller: 02202
