Got my first one today, feel part of the club, much like a newly humped virgin. Is it ironic that you are all very sad for writing on this blog, but here I am doing the same? It isn't, however, that I think you're sad for worrying and getting annoyed by this number calling you. Think about what the life is like of the person calling you, or that has set up this automated nuisance. Rest assured that your lives are only a notch less sad than them.

it's definitely o2, don't worry about it, they keep ringing because they're a telemarketing organisation, but they are completely safe.

Hi, I had this call yesterday, and gave them all my details without thinking. I panicked, and after I got off the phone to them I emailed o2. I then got a phone call today from o2 saying thanks for the email, it was genuine and from the o2 sales team. So don't worry about it :)

It is in fact 02's number. I emailed them and this is their response:

Yeah I just got this aswell.. When I rang it back it said the number you have dialed cannot be recognised please check and try again.... Quite strange when they rang me a man happly just kept saying hello when i said hello he hung up .. very strange

Right let me just say, if it WAS o2, they would'nt call and just hang up. It's not o2, those statements saying it is are lies.
How come when I google for any other o2 number it brings up o2.co.uk first but when I google this 02202 number it comes up with discussions like this. All [***] don't give them any details.

IT IS ONLY 02, THEY ARE CHANGING YOUR CALL PRICES FROM 40P PER CALL TO 25P.

this stupid number has rung me tooooo! can nothing by done ?

Over the last 3 days i have had 4 calls from this number. I picked up the first time but when i said hello, they hung up. I called the number but it sed it was invalid. The 3 times after that i have hung up. What do i do to stop it?

Had four calls now from 02202. Missed the first but answered the second one. A male, possibly asian voice said hello then hung up, had two calls since which i've ignored. Its really annoying.

I keep getting this phonecall alot too. It's beginning to drive me mad, what do they want? Why do they do it?

then i thought to google it and see who it belongs , am glad i did now because i came accross this site :)

I received this call today, I didnt give any details to them other then my first name. I check this number with the 02 shop beside my work and was told that it is not o2 as their number starts with a 8. so dont answer call or give any details. IT IS A SCAM, BE CAREFUL.
