It's a shame that the authorities are unwilling / unable to trace these spoof numbers & bring these scumbags to court. Our government though will misuse our laws & snoop on us! - SharonJust received 3 calls in like 2 minutes said hello no answer then they hung up I hate answering my house phone these days half the time I just ignore it if it rings
- PhilJust had a call off 02256800256, from 'Kevin' with a very strong Indian accent. I fist asked what he was selling, he told me nothing but he said he wanted to return bank charges etc etc.
I told his this was obviously a scam call as I don't have a bank account and not to ring again, he said this is a genuine call from UK Finance................ I told him I was being genuine with the following reply.
Don't EVER ring here again, and please just F*** Off and die.
He hung up :)- Caller: UK Finance
- NigelI got a call today from an Indian woman named "Jenny." She eventually guessed I was playing innocent and I asked "How do I get this money back?" asshe had mentioned some rubbish about higher rate interest charges that I do not see on my bank statement. Her pleasant response was "Why are you dealing with me - go to hell." Idiots!
- BobScam trying to get bank details or they hang up

- eltonthird time today - they just hang up. Each call reported as malicious.
- RichLVery long call similar to other calls above. Even asked for all the digits on the back of the card and then I knew that it was a scam. They wanted me to quote the card number in full saying that the number provided a legal authentication of where I live and date of birth - what rubbish. I spoke to at least three people, all sounding Indian, before I terminated the call.
- DbComplete chancers
Wouldn't tell me where they got my details from. I told them I was ex directory and they shouldnt have my details
Asked if I was the prime minister
Told me to stop wasting his [***] time
I asked to speak to supervisor
He said he was
I asked to speak to his manager
He said he was
I asked if he was both then
He said yes, and repeated that I was wasting his time
He asked if I understood plain English
I said I am happy to listen to his rambling and threatening behaviour as he was paying for the call
He called me a [***] [***]

2 minutes later, his Mate called!

- Call type: Telemarketer
- Andy BLooks like this one is still going, unfortunately my mum fell for it, and we've just had to cancel her card. Lucky for me I answered the phone on the second call, where the guy denied he was trying to pay money into my parents account, and (after I abused him for being a scamming scumbag) informed me he would charge the card £200.... He said he was based in Eastbourne, and I should go see him personally (for some hand to hand answers no doubt) although more abuse was thrown at me when I said I'd meet him at the police station.
- Rod, NorthumberlandI missed a call from this number today (29th Aug 2012). No doubt they'll ring again.

- HelenI had a call from this number last week and when I said I was not interested in cold calls I got obscene abuse from the Asian-sounding caller. He said "I want to f**k you, you fat cow (?)" I didn't quite catch what he called me so asked him to repeat it, which he unhesitatingly did. Still didn't catch what he was calling me, though the other part was very clear! He was happy to give me the number he was calling from and said the company was UK Finance Co. A bit unnerving and as this was followed by two silent calls from 01922 (just that, I checked with 1471) Iam becoming reluctant to answer the phone.
- NigelJust had a call from a guy who said he was Mr watson but had strong Indian accent, said I was owed money on my utility bills I spoke to him in a sarcastic tone and when I refused to give him my date of birth saying if I was owed money why did he need my date of birth he got angry and said he was a scammer and that he had my bank account details and was going to take money out. He then put the phone down.

BEWARE 02256800256 - I Creasey| 1 replyhad a call at 8:15 at night from this no. An Indian guy who spoke poor english told me I was due a refund of bank charges. He knew my name & address D.O.B but when I refused to give him any info about my bank he started with the attitude. Something should be done about these as vulnerable people could easily be conned.
