Just had a cold call from this number and after asking for a supervisor he  threatened to come to my house and rape me!  Be very wary!!!

i have just received a call from the same company so they are still going in October 12, interesting thing is i also had a call from British Consumers Ltd supposed to be based in Manchester, when i checked them on google sevferal references to information belonging to Friends Reunited came up and when i did the same for this phone number i find several adds relating to Genes Reunited which by a strange coincidence i was scammed into giving my details to including phone number!less than a week ago!

Received a call from 0225 68000256 today

call on the house phone from 02256800256 asking for a Miss Macfarlane (very strong accent) i told him he had the wrong number so he asked who i was - i replied saying that this number is registered with TPS so he shouldnt be calling and to remove my number from their system, he said "what is TPS?" to which i replied "Telephone preference system, it means that you cant call this number as i havent given you permission to have it on your system" then he starts giving me abuse about how im so stupid and TPS doesnt stand for telephone preference system and i dont know what im talking about - i told him to remove my number from his system and not to phone again "but i like to phone you because you a such a lovely charming lady" - i just told him to F*ck off and hung up - creep!

How can i stop these calls ?

Just had a call from someone who spoke in an Indian accent and the line was very bad so I presume he was calling from that country.  He kept saying he was calling from the UK Department of Finance.  When I asked for a cheque to be sent he confirmed my address but when he asked for my date of birth I refused.  He repeated he needed my date of birth so I told him he could keep the money and put the phone down.
I tried to obtain the callers number but it had been withheld.

Had a call...a man with an indian accent said I was owed money from my bank...I said I will be refering this call to the police...he got very irate and said do that...then swore at me with very foul language...obviously he didn't like it.

Just got call from this number, but nobody spoke upon answering said call.  It all seems very shifty to me.

My 87 year old mother in law got a call from this number they just hung up somebody needs to deal with this sort of call.

UK Finance Dept just called me.. Couldn't understand much as the guy had a very strong Indian/Asian accent and poor English. All I could make out was something to do with my Bank charges. I asked for his telephone number as I wanted to call him back and guess what.. Phone went down!  Watch out as they are still trying to scam people!

Two calls today - spotted number on CallerID, so did not answer. Surely the telecom companies can bar these calls from entering the UK?

Had a phone call from these people, new all my details and when i refused to say my security number i was called a motherf****ing b*****d!!!!!

I had a call this evening and checked to see if I could find the area from the phone number. If you look on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hirtenberg you will find that the area code for Hirtenberg in Austria is 02256. Presumably, since BT does not list 02256 as an area code for the UK, they must be calling from the EU.

Just got a call and the man was indian.. he started asking if i was married and if i wanted to get married or just have fun? very odd!

Call from this number today, lady with an Indian accent. How did she know my name? She hung up when I said this number registered with TSP. We are also ex-directory.
Before she hung up she said something about money my bank owed me.

Just had a call from this number.  I did not speak as I had received another false call (telling me I had won something in Mexico!) ten minutes back, and after a few minutes they just hung up. And I am with the TPS also!

Just had a phone call from this number regarding bank charges I'm entitled too. He confirmed my post code and my name, but when he asked me to confirm my d.o.b I said no and the he went on to say fxxk you you mother fxxker. Charming x
