Had several calls from these people over the past two days. it is a complete scam they talk absoulte bollocks, i work in IT for a living and they could give me absolutly no evidence what they were saying is ture so i told them where to go and he got very agresive with me and thretend to phone my house durnig the night what a prick! i cannot believe that they can get away with this and still phone everyone to try and scam them its a dicrace!

I got a call from someone telling me i had a problem with my computer,as i was using it with no problem i told him politely i did not need his help as i just felt suspicious.then i googled the tel number and here i am,the number is now blocked from my phone.

I just got a call from these guyys, and he told me that I was having an issue with my computer.  I asked him the name of his company and typed it into Google, and told him that my google search came back with a lot of compaints that this is a fraudulant phone call.  I knew what was goin on and I was having fun with him at this point.  He was getting frustrated and told me I was a liar and that I didn't know what I was talking about.  He then asked me why I was staying on the phone with him if I thought it was a scam.  I told him that I was having fun with him, and that I was keeping him on the phone as long as I could simply to annoy him and waste his time so he was unable to waste the time of others.  At this point, he finally hung up on me.

A relative has recently had this experience and had the presence of mind to ask the caller for his phone number then googled it while he had him on the phone.  He told the caller he was an IT expert and was sending a virus down the phone to infect his computer.  The guy was so clueless that he obviously believed this and swore at him then hung up.

Today it was my turn.  An Asian man called, could not understand a word he said.  Repeatedly asked him to say again as he had adressed me by name so I wanted to know who he was.  Eventually I made out that he was from "Windows" and wanted to talk to me about a virus on my computer.  I replied "what computer?" and he hesitated and said "do you have a computer?" so I started to laugh, which irritated him (naturally).  I then hung up and blocked the number.

I didn't put my name because it occurred to me that these phone pests might also look at  the 'Who Calls Me' website.
I just had a call from 02538020308 and a male with an Indian or possibly African accent said "Hello" and when I didn't answer he said it again.."Hello". He said it a couple more times and then he hung up. It's difficult to be sure with just the one word but I think it was either Indian or African, and it was a male, or a femail with a deep voice.

Now targeting Glasgow central belt area. I have had 3 calls already, really cant be bothered with them.

I have just had a call from 02538020308, very insistent, but told him there was nothing wrong with my computer and put the phone down.  He then rang back sayinf it was an off line check not an online check and that was why he was phoning me back.  I have a son in IT so he could not fool me, but be careful because he was very insistant.  I live on the south coast..

Usual Asian called Mike Johnson.  mmmmmm!  Must be about the 20th call I've had along these lines. Told me about my apparent windows problem. Thought I'd have a laugh and kept telling him I'd just had some new windows fitted.  Still didn't twig. Stupid person. Said I'd have a new garage window though. Gave him false address and card number, and after keeping him talking for 15 mins (to waste his time), I told him I had an AppleMac.  He still didn't twig.  What a fool.

i had a call from this guy about 10 mins ago told him i have seen this on the television and it was a scam to buy antivirus software to get your information like bank account numbers etc. he told me f... you f...you so i told him f... you c...and hung up

Phoned this morning saying from Microsoft.The co incidence was that my virus checker had picked up something this morning and advised me reported. If we werent on the TPS service and not been savy enough to know about the scams I could so easity been caught out.
I phoned the number and got a message saying it didnt exsist.

A while ago I go quite stroppy with one of these wretched morons and told him to something quite rude.  I did get a call at 3.00 am, so don't be surprised if you do!!

I get a call every Friday from either a male or female caller, always with a very poor command of English speaking, always to tell me my computer is infected with a virus............I have no clue who they are, but they are a complete nuisance

1643hrs. Just received call from peson who sounds to be of same genre as reported above. I'm in central Scotland so the dodgy, heavily accented folk must be now trying their luck further north than before. Asked for my husband by name but hung up when I answered.

just got yet another call from this number, they usually call when im at work, and leave a message which is 'goodbye' but i  was in today, and when i answered, i got a mechanical  voice saying 'goodbye' so what on earth is the point of these calls, if only to anger or agitate people !!!!!!!!!!!!! im in newcastle so they seem to be calling people all over the country!!! saddo's!!!

just got this call today at 10.38am, I did not answer my phone and I glad i did not after reading about it ,so thanks people if they phone back i,ll know what to do .cheers

An Asian man called my number to-day around 8.45am. he knew my name. Said no-one was here and hung up

Received call today 5/12/11 from my name is "Andy" calling from "the computer maintenance department"

He received the mandatory three "f's" from me - but it does not seem to deter them - they call virtually every day!
