had the call just now from the windows service centre , that they had an error reoprt form my computer . dip heads then went on to ask if I had a computer ,  said several  which is true , then repeated the question about 3 times do i have a computer .

Actually they were all of at the time ,
confirmed it was on and kept saying yes to every question , till eventually they asked for confirmation what I had got on screen , it them became tricky  as it was off .
So refused to answer , then sadly they gave up ,
guess they will be back - think nextime wil refer to the new windows  ( double glazed )

received call saying my computer is infected etc.  Hinting from Microsoft . When challenged they are not. I asked how they know my computer is infected ,they ask you to give details of your computer.. DO NOT DO THIS. Its a scam ,hey could get your personal details and cost you dearly    I told them to bollocks and hung up.

Just got a call from this number, asian guy saying he had become aware that my computer had downloaded  some problem software / virus. Asked him how he got my details as ex directory but he would not answer, called me by my name, told him computer was fine and my anti-virus software was working fine sorting things out - he said that the software would not prevail - told him to cease calling and that there was no problem and when asked how he was monitoring my computer he tried to back track, told him if I found this to be true I would refer him to my lawyer for intellectual trespass.

I didn't answer the call this evening, but I've had the same dodgy call as others on the site in the past. This number has called me twice in the past week so I guess they're still at it. For the record, I'm in Merseyside.

recieved ssilent call today. last week an asian lady called saying she was from microsoft and there wasa problem with my computer.I said i didn't have a pc and she called me a liar!

Scam call. Asian saying he worked for windows in Manchester & tried to get me to turn my pc on as I had viruses & malware on it??

Said he could fix it online??

I hung up eventually as my number is ex directory.. He told me windows had sent him the info.. Scam scam scam...

just had call from this number nobody spoke i could hear clicks then an automated goodbye

Silent call hangs up when I answer suspect tele sales call

Have just had a call from this number (Asian voice) and, having fallen victim to a scam ten days ago;  I gave him very short shrift - these people are criminals and shouldn't be allowed to continue harrassing people.   When I went to the Bank to cancel my cards I was advised to report it to the Police, which I have done.   I live in the Merseyside area.

Had 4 calls from this number since Sunday, 4 Dec.2011 - when the number appears on my phone I pick up and put phone down immediately without them getting the chance to say anything!!
They are targeting Bedfordshire at this moment where I live.

Just had a call from "PC Care Store" on this number. Said I needed to clean my PC and they could help. Gave me an English name (asian accent) with an employee number to check over the phone. When I checked them out website looks a little suspect so did 1471 and got this website - phone ringing again now so gonna play games.............

Well done you.  Wish everone would check before falling for this scam.  Looks like they have changed their name this time, instead of their number. Remember folks, Neither Microsoft, nor its partners, will ever ring you. It would be a breach of their privacy rules.  As it said on "You've been Scammed" - BBC1 21st November - these scammers will install spyware/malware on your machine if they get remote access.

Managed to keep them talking for 8 minutes. Wanted to charge £269 for a lifetime service of my PC. I said I could buy a new one for that! Don't think they'll be calling me back. lol

call received from that number but no reply when phone answered - who are they ?

Wow i had so much fun with this obviosly a scam but kept them on line for at least 10 minutes he said his name was Kevin Wood and was working in central London. I asked him what was the weather like today etc etc. If he wants to waste my time I will waste his

Hey have some fun with them we are all sensible enough to know it is a scam so tell them you have a mac or something turn the tables on them and smile all the way through it!!

from the other comments it's definitely a scam. These clowns need to be jailed.......
