just had the phone call today about  what was said in other posts here told him iI am with the telephone perfernce service and said your breaking the law if you trying to sell me anything and put phone down on him.

Just recieved a call from this number, someone in the back ground. Called it back to be advised it does not exist???

I just received a call from someone claiming to be from a computer company, and saying that my computer may be corrupted. Having received similar calls both yesterday and a few weeks back, I know this to be a hoax, and would very much like these people to be dealt with.

I have today received a phone call from the number mentioned above....... it was a asian lady and when she was talking it was not that clear like there was an intruption of some sort....... she asked for me by my full name and said i have been downloading stuff that contained viruses?????? which i replied saying NO.! and that my computer is fully covered with protection...... she goes on and on and said if i dont sort it my PC will crash.... hahaha i dont even have a PC i have a laptop...... i said goodbye and hung up

02538020308 is also targetting my area, in West Yorkshire and has been for over a year.  This is a scam - please please please do not tell these people any of your details whatsoever because heaven knows what you are letting yourself in for if you do!

They are targeting East Sussex now . Same thing and although the English isnt at all good I managed to pick out that my computer was sending out signals of viruses and of course they could help sort it out !!!!!!  
  The last time and there have been many I said that my computer was fine and I didnt want any phone calls from them again , I was told to **** off and the phone was banged down.

telephoned 4 times today, either silent then hung up or saying they from computer maintenance

I zapped the number on my truecall machine. If they call again they will be cut off automatically and told politely to " Go Away".

The prat is now targeting S Wales

I have been receiving several calls from this number along with several other numbers, private callers and out of area calls.  I tend to ignore them but they are starting to take the biscuit!  This number rang me at 2.54am this morning and during the last 24hrs I have had 10 such calls which is about the average per day!!  Is there anything that will stop them?

These scum, after claiming to be from Windows Support remotely hacked into my back account and stole £350.00 17/7/12. I have been called over 9 times today 21/7/12 asking for my bank details so the thieving scum can put my money back as it was a 'sever error' do they think I am totally stupid. Nothing bank will do as its a scam and not a fraud, bank coluld not even stop money leaving my account whilst in was only in he 'process' of being taken. Albanite need to be shut down and all assets taken as these are surley a product of crime.

I think you need to have another word with your bank as they are, I think, spinning you a line.  This is a con and you were defrauded of your money.  I assume you did not give them your bank details and they got them by getting remote access to your computer.  Have a word with Action Fraud and see what their take is on it.  They are really helpful and need to hear about these scams.

Called today at 1pm by this number, the line went dead after I answered .the other scam line doing the rounds is 039393939. The telephone preference service, only works on uk calls, not from abroad

This number persistently calls my disabled mother and the Asian guy on the phone was very rude when she said she didn't have a computer and he told her to f*** off and not to lie about not having a computer. I would recommend callin the police and report it to their fraud squad.

just had a call seems as though they are doing the rounds again!!!  A person called John said he was calling about my windows computer... and so I just told him I had a linux computer and he apologised and rang off! lol... Just shows they are just chancers as I am running Windows but I know its a scam!

I was called by an asian sounding man. He asked if I was Mrs *****Saying that he was calling from british washing machines. I didn't reply. He read my full address asking if this was correct. I hung up.

started getting calls from this number a few weeks ago the 1st time they said they were from windows and i had downloaded something dodgy that was going to kill my computer and that they could fix it remotely if i went online. i said i would when they told me exactly what the problem was. he rattled off a lot of tech sounding words until i stopped him, pointed out i was a systems analyst and every word out of his mouth had been nonsense. obviously he hung up however i have been getting calls ever since sometimes 4+ times a day where the line is silent then a creepy recorded "goodbye" is really starting to annoy me wish theyd come to my door instead!!

sick of the constant calls from this number should be a law against it

We have had 4 calls from this number in the last 24 hours. I would love to kill the person responsible for it.
