Its only lunchtime and now the third call.  Earlier in the day I let them ramble on and their intoduction was yet again that they were doing a consumer survey.  As soon as I interupted their prepared speech they hung up.

The other two occassions we answered and it went dead on us.

Now targeting Hertfordshire ! had several calls all hang up when answered- scam !!!!

02538020308 has rung three or four times a day .they want me to complete a survey, I asked for supervisor and he said the number was not theirs. Checks sod told me to sit down and have. A glass of wine because I got mad with him

This number called me this morning to say they were from the windows help desk LIAR!

multiple calls over several days including late evening (after 9pm) and 4 more in less than 2 hours the following morning.

OK guys, we know it is a scam and what we need is to hurt them. If you have the time just string them along, pretend that you are a novice to computers and that it takes you time to do things i.e. a perfect target for the scammer!..then of course you have to answer the door and I'll be back in a minute..make yourself a cup of coffee or tea while every now and again saying loudly "I'll be with you in a minute"..."Please don't hang up"...and then carry on pretending that you don't know your way round the computer...that will get our Asian friend betraying his or her put-on accent..and when you have had enough just tell him what you think of them!..Time is money for them and may be you have stopped them attacking another unsuspecting fellow computer user who is not as savvy as yourself...You Will Feel Good for that...

i have these people calling me 3 times a day, i have actually spoken to an asain lady and an asain man, its been going on for 3 months, they claim to be from windows, and tell me i am due for a refund, THEY ASK FOR SOMEONE CALLED DAVID FIDDLER  OR MRS FIDDLER, when i tell them there is no one here with that name, they ask for my details so that they can refund me, they are trying to get information from you when they call you so be very careful, they are definate SCAMMERS, dont tell them nothing, and dont give any of your personal details, name address, bank details  computer details etc, im in b ham west midlands and these have been calling me for months,
i asked them why they want to refund me if it is not me they are asking for, told them i dont even have a computer and guess what happens THEY HANG UP, just be on your gaurd

Have had a few calls, normally put the phone down due to accent and bad quality sound! Left an Asian guy tell me today, about the corrupted files doing damage to my computer! The important bits of it! That it comes from opening files on Facebook messages etc, and the anti virus I use won't be of any use as they are not viruses! He asked me to sit at the computer and let him guide me through fixing and cleaning my computer! It was at this point I told him to ring back next week as I didn't have time today! He paused, panicking I think, and insisted this wouldn't take long! I asked where he worked; Manchester! Ifhe rings back I wil try and spook him further asking for more details etc!

I got a call from the above number at 7.40 a.m. today, 14th December.   When I answered I could hear nothing except at the end I heard a recorded voice saying Goodbye.

P.S.   I am in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire

Got a call from this number 18/12/12 13.55 talking about a virus and software on my computer, she had a very thick indian accent i could barely understand her. I said no thank you and hung up.

Have had a few of these in the past, and actually (naively) thought they had stopped!! Have had 3 today, ignored the first picked up the other 2, but nothing said!! Luv the idea of playing the technophobe and keeping them on the line, I would also luv to rip their heads off and scream and shout at them!! My bad, I know but am waiting for quite an important phone cal!!!;0((

Just this minutiae had an Asian woman phone (exactly the same number) claiming to be from a data company wanting to ask me some questions, I asked where she got my details from and asked to speak to a supervisor, she hung up!! ;0))

Hung up on the person, then pressed call so they couldn't get through again. Fed up with whoever it is. This is the third or fourth time they've bothered bothered me saying they're from Windows and want to give me a £99 refund for protection which I never bought. I've got phone preference service but still get lots of cold calls which are driving me scatty. They actually put a virus or a bit of spyware onto my computer which I had to get professionally removed. I live in Warwickshire so it seems their net is spreading...again

Phoned me twice already this morning, once at 7.50am.  Absolutely apalling time to call anyone. They need reported

Got a call this evening, about 6pm.

Cited my full name, that they knew we used Windows, when we don't, and that we had been 'Downloading Lots of Malicious Spyware'!  Also claiming that they worked for Microsoft.

Asked for their line manager, paused, and the same guy introduced himself as the manager.  Indian/Middle Eastern rather than Asian.

Either way fishy.  Reported to the police, so they are aware.

Can't belive this number is still going!! Had a call today (4.1.13) from an Asian saying I had a virus! I replied "how did you find out about my sexual health records?" But he strangely hung up!! This number has rang me before but was always silent.
