got a call from this number saying i had problem with my computer, told him to get lost and he told me to "f off", nice guy nice company???????????

This number is a scamming company. Do not believe a word they say and cut off being as rude as you like. They are scum preying on those with little IT knowledge. They want to take control of your PC and download software to correct issues that do not exist and then charge you for it. Do not give any details to them apart from fxxk off parasitic scumbags.

They ring no one speaks then it says good bye who r they

Called asking me to take part in a survey - strong Indian accent but said her name was Sarah.Sick of these parasite crooks!

this num just called saying it was Microsoft which is funny as I run Linux anyway the said I have been over charged on a product and they had to refund me asked if my pc was on and my bank details I just laughed at him and put the phone down .....scam

Just got a call from this number; it's the old "We are calling from Microsoft about problems with your computer" scam. I told the caller to look out of his window as the drones had already pinpointed his location so he'd better run for his life. Can you believe he then used a torrent of foul and abusive language at me?  What sort of training do they provide for Microsoft employees?

Had 2 calls today already & 1 yesterday, when I answered it there was just silence. So p****d with these flaming calls. I've reported this number with the TPS whom I've been with for several years so don't understand why they can keep calling.

Called today. I checked the number and found all these adverse comments.

this number 02538020308 is still being used, tried to scam me and gain control of my computer friday 1/2/2013 by entering into a remote access situation. foreign accent saying they were calling from windows tech dept and my pc was sending corrupted message files to their server all bull. Tried to show me the standard error report that my pc would normally send microsoft and bluff that there was a problem. Secondly I obtained a telephone number for microsoft but got through to TECHVEDIC again saying they were microsoft partners, telling me I'd been scammed and there were hackers on my pc and my windows programs had been corrupted and it was no longer a valid program, cut along story short, they they wanted £178 to supposedly download windows 7 which I already own and give be 12 months pc protection i.e. pc malware which I already own. After he even dropped the price to £125 when I refused to give credit card details and was extremely pushy. Common sense says microsoft would not charge for something you already paid for. Thirdly monday 4/2/2013 I just answered the phone at my mother- in- laws and unbelieveable it was from the same number 02538020308. Waste their time, give them some verbal and hang up.

I had 3 calls from them today.... I ignore the calls now as a friend of mine told me it was a scam. Don't give them access to your computer.. .they don't check your computer for viruses, they put one on so they can access it. A friend of mine accepted it and lost everything!

Absolutely fed up with these calling now, they claim to be from windows, an Asian person calls claiming that we have called and left a message for them to fix our computer, but all they want you to do is to log your computer on whilst they are on the phone, they then give you a code then hack into your computer! I've been polite with them, I've shouted at them, I've quoted the Harrassmet Act at them, I've asked them to take my number off their mailing list, and if you ask them to do this they are required by law to do so, but they don't, they just keep on ringing! Are they really that thick and think that I'm going to go along with this! They claim to be a company from London, when I asked them for their Head Office number and who their Ombudsman is they just hung up!!

This person has called my several times today saying he is conducting a survey on behalf of British Gas. He insists on taaking my full name, and because I wont give it to him he keeps calling me back.

I was called by Asian sounding man, he said I had a problem with my p.c. which had sent a message to Microsoft and I had to log on to my pc to enable him to fix it. I thought I would have a bit of fun so I said I had 5 computers and he said they all had problems, I asked lots of silly questions and he just kept saying are you sat at your pc, log on etc, I acted as though I was really stupid and he was getting really exasperated with me, I could here him sighing and trying not to raise his voice, he eventually hung up on me! Ha ha!

had a call this afternoon stating that we had a problem with our fire wall. My husband said there was no way that could be the case, and if they were gonna scam someone do it probably!!!!!

40mins later they rung again and i answered, i listened to his rubbish for 5 mins, when at the point he said if you don't get your fire wall sorted you could get into trouble with the police!!!!!

Hung up at that point. These people need putting away.

This number rings but no one answers. It is usually just after a 090117 call which also doesn't answer

I had another call from this number today, in the past an Asian man has said he is from Microsoft & my computer was in peril! Today he said he was from EBay & that someone in Nigeria was buying mobile phones with my credit card. He tried to get me to give him the rest of my card number but I told him no & I would contact my credit card company. Funny enough he hung up!
I have reported this to EBay & my credit card supplier who have taken the phone number I retrieved from my phone & they are investigating through their fraud depts.

These people are exactly as you describe & they got me same way - once they get into yr machine they will never leave you alone. I had to have my memory etc 'washed' to remove them. The sooner you do it the better. They also deleted all working MacAfee files. They call themselves Global Connect mostly & now call several times each week trying to get me to open my computer to give me a refund! Once they start calling repeatedly you know you got them beat so 'wash' them away - cost me £70 locally was all. It can be fun abusing them but like all these things it soon gets boring. Idiots like us have come 'out' to eavch other and face up to what we did.

Just got a call now.  Asian girl and she had my full name, so i just told them "bugger off" and put the phone down.   I am in Dorset.

For the last few weeks twice a day I am getting calls from this number. Who is it?
