Was so pleased to get this website page when I searched for the number. I too have been constantly getting calls from this number. I make a monthly donation to Mediciens Sans Frontiers and have received an annual call for the past few years, probably around this time of year thanking me so much for my regular donation and telling that a few dollars more would make even more of a difference. They are no doubt as previous posters have suggested, a call service that solicits donations for charitable organistaion. I just keep ignoring the calls. Hope they give up sooner rather than later.

I've had calls from this number also, tried to ring back but just got a message saying someone would get back to me.... same time every day for a week hahaha.... Thanks to pages like this, lifes simple questions can be answered

I got a call from this number; they said they're from one of the Fund Raising that I donate regularly.
Sounds correct, but then they asked for credit card number when I agree to donate extra, but they should've had my details before, why would they ask for it again?
For the outsource company, I think it is a bad way to approach people, because we should have very careful to give out credit card numbers over the phone.

I've been getting calls from this number now for two months, each time it is a different charity. I think this number must be from a general telemarketing company that different charities use. I just ignore them and just recently i have placed my name on the DO NOT CALL register with the Australian Government, takes a few days to work but eventually they should stop.

I had a call from this number sometime ago and was told it was doctors without borders. I signed up to donate. A couple of days ago I received a call from said number.  At this time it did not click in my mind that it was that company.  I answered the call and the person who called asked if he was speaking to me (by name) I said yes that is who is speaking.  The caller then hung up. that was it. why call and ask if its me and then hang up?  If it is a company working for charities then they do not train their staff correctly in customer service.  I have had trouble with my ex being violent and threatening and when this caller asked for me by name and hung up on confirmation it really scared me, and made me nervous that it was someone trying to find me on behalf my ex.  After reading everyone else's comments on here I am going to contact my bank and have them removed from being able to debit my account.  It also occurs to me that its not a real company at all.  Isn't it possible it is a set up using all sorts of charity names to score peoples credit card details and debit accounts?  Think of the thousands of people out there who are actually donating to them, they could be making a fortune for their own pockets from generous kind people who are sucked in by the charity thing.  I mean really, what other legitimate business or charity out there calls people repetitively, and also hangs up when they have found out who they are?  Interestingly money was withdrawn from my account from them the day after I received the hang up call.

they ring up chasing donations for different charities... i recently started donating monthly to wesley mission and ever since have had these people ring up trying to get me to support more causes... i am not sure what others they do but i know they have asked me for greenpeace several times

I have had at least 2 calls per day for the last week from this mob. It is getting annoying!

I have had repeated calls!!! So annoying, i do not belong to any charities nor green peace...how the hell did they get my number. I do not give out my mobile number to everyone!!! So annoying....If they call again, i am going to have a go at them, sure 1 or 2 calls a week for 14 calls in a week is STUPID!!!!

I quite often hear my phone ringing when I am at work and when I pick it up to see who it is, it is: 0281149789.  I do not know who it is so I do not answer and they don't leave a message - ever.

They have obviously got my number from somewhere?  I looked on the internet to try to see who it belongs to and there are sites that say it is Greenpeace /Amnesty etc.  I don't belong to either of these but do belong to the RSPCA, WSPA and a few Animal Charities.  I don't care if it is them calling - if they are someone I belong to they should leave a message re: what their call is about!  If it is about processing a donation or something, fine but as they don't leave a message, it is probalby to try to get me to give more money.

The number does not obviously belong to any of the charities I belong to.

If they are someone I belong to they need to identify themselves with a message as I will not answer a call I do not know who the number belongs to!

A number of different organisations obvisouly use the same number (company) to call it's dontators for various reasons. I've just received a call from this number and it was WWF. So, if you donate to any charity then that's who's calling you.

Not only that your calls are annoying and your so called 'telefundraisers' sounding like machines (after same phone calls made 1.000.000th time), but you are leeches who take money from charities and people donating to charities. You are paid and commissioned by charities, and charities are getting 90% of their funds from general public. Not only that you don't know what those charities represent, but you don't care, all you care about is money. On top of charging charities big $$$ for those annoying, pointless calls (that don't generate anything but bad publicity), you charge charities for your stupid training sessions that are totally useless, corporate style pie-chart presentations that have nothing to do with a dying child in Africa, Asia, or wherever in the world, waiting for those donations to save them, with big percentage of those funds ending in your greedy corporate pockets. You disgust me.

You called me 6 times. It's ridiculous. What strategy is that? To drive people insane and call you and abuse you on the phone, or take you to the media. Yet you call yourselves a strategic company. You are on a good path if your strategy is to deter people from donating to charities, and a big slice of pie goes to some unscrupulous corporation called 2evolve, that represents nothing but the corporate greed and has no knowledge of international humanitarian organisations and what those represent. Shame on you and your founder who came with a such unethical idea.

It's also Amnesty International (and probably lots of other charities), trying to sign you up to contributions.

I got calls from this number mid last year, but kept missing them. It was very frustrating not to be able to call back the number.  

I googled the number and decided that I would do my best to answer the phone call, if only to chew the ear off whoever called me.

Having had a terrible day I wanted to embarrass the girl a bit and knew she was probably reading straight off a script. Her greetings were pleasant enough, though she was probably trained to be that way.

I asked random questions (not stupid questions, but about details about the humanitarian crisis she was telling me about)

I assumed she wouldn't know the answers as I actually used to WORK for Amnesty Internatonal and I know the kind of 'script' that is used - and none of what I asked was in the script.

Much to my surprise, she knew the answers and did not just know them, she knew them to the point where she could respond in an intelligent way which had me just a bit taken back. As much as I tried to throw her off the script, she was able to create a proper conversation not just a scripted one-sided one.

If all their callers are like this, then good on you 2evolve I say.

Oh dear Liz, who are you trying to fool. They are trained monkeys that read off the script and have no idea about humanitarian crisis, and you must be one of them.

My call was from Amnesty as I am a member.  Sure, they are a fundraising firm working on behalf of Amnesty, and they are just aiming to raise funds - so not like the amnesty people in the head office who will talk to you about the issues and give you more information.  But it was an important campaign and I was glad that they got a hold of me.

Someone rings me from this no. once or twice a day. I tried to SMS them to ask them to desist but the message won't go through. Anyone know who they are?

When I get these annoying callers, I save the number and put a particular ring to it so if I am driving or something, I know I can just ignore it rather than stressing, thinking it might be something important when I can't get to it,

This has been happening for weeks now and is very frustrating!!! I finally rang back today and all I got was a voice message. This website has been very helpful in shedding some light on who these people are and now i know i can ignore this number because it is a corporation sucking money out of people and turning others off donating who may have intended to. Harassment is not the way to go.
