Why do they keep phoning me? It's irritating.  No message is ever left and I refuse to call them back.  I hate scams!!

I was a member of Amnesty International for ten years. Then I started getting calls from this number. They would tell in vivid detail of cases such as a woman who had been stoned to death as punishment for being gang raped. Then they ask for more money.

I agree that atrocities need to be publicised and challenged. But what they are doing is emotionally blackmailing people who are known to be human rights supporters.

I got a mystery call 0281149789 and googled it to find this forum, it makes sense it is Medecin San Frontier.  I signed up the day after the Boxing Day tsunami where 250,000 people perished and have remained a member since.
Each year they politely ask if I'd like to up the monthly donations, each time I decline as I am skint most of the time.  They are a great organisation doing great things, don't dis on them to badly if they outsourced to a pushy call centre.

They save lives, maybe one day yours!

Have been receiving daily calls on mu mobile for about 3 weeks now. Most annoying.  Hopefully they will give up, as I do not answer them.

Ditto to all the above!!!! I've had enough of the calls. They are ringing me a couple of times a day every single day and NEVER leave a message! I have a habit of not answering calls from an unknown number, so I've never picked up, but just did a google search on the number to see if I could locate who they are - painful people. They won't get any money out of me due to their harassment approach and I am usually quite open to charities and donating - Not Anymore!

I appreciate messages other people have posted here explaining that the calls are from Amnesty, they're trying to raise awareness, just doing their job  etc etc....

My issue is not who they are, and why they're calling....but the fact that it's CONSTANT....and they NEVER leave a voice mail....common courtesy, regardless of the reason for the call, is that a voice mail should be left....and then nothing else, including no more repeat calls.

I work full-time in a job where I am in and out of workshops/meetings etc all day, with staff.  I simply do not have the to answer my personal mobile every time it rings....and it just irritates me that this company obviously don't care.  They're just so insistent on continually ringing until I answer.

If they had the courtesy to leave a message then I would be much more likely to return the call.  However, I have no interest now in trying to contact them because their ridiculous attempts to continually call me is - quite simply - just annoying

You work for 2evolve and do not make commissions?!!?!? How does 10 sign ups in a week sound everything after that is all bonus?? Can't believe you have the nerve to lie to all these people. Travel trips to rural areas to get more sign ups because people in cities already know about you. 2evolve is a poorly ran company with poorly trained management.

Do not donate through 2Evolve!!!!

Every day this week I've had a missed call from this number and when I ring it back it goes to some answering machine saying it's some company called true evolve? They never leave a message or anything though

Not one single person i know that has worked there has enjoyed it. Ive heard of people being dismissed for missing days. ive seen people throw up in bins and still get asked to stay "because theres too much work".

I've seen people get fired because of "what other staff said they did"
they let go of people, but pay them out 4 weeks to avoid any risks of facing a legal battle.

They do not care about the fundraisers. Management Manipulate their staff and brain wash them. Ive seen management try and convince a fundraiser to quit full time university and stay at 2evolve. They dont believe in your personal belief ... .yes i use to be a senior team leader there.

Worst place to work for.

The way they do things is not ethical they pretend to be but thye really don't care. I got asked to tell people to ask 89 year old pensioners whos husband has just recently passed away for more money. Who the [***] does that?

This company is run on a paper based system where credit card information is written down. Your details can be easily stolen so be careful.

If you are  human rights believer then you will not believe the bull crap that is 2evolve.

Seriously - the amount of people that get fired is astounding. TOTAL backwards compnay run by University rejects and people who barely finished school.

"Travel trips to rural areas" are face to face. Clearly this forum is about miscalls from a call centre, not people bugging you on the street.

Hi, I have worked at 2evolve in  the past and have quit. I HATE THE COMPANY, IT MAKES ME SICK!!! The fundraisers are all good and excellent and believe in what they are doing but it is the blood sucking upper management that really stinks. They treat their staff like crap and make them work over time and do not pay them a fair wage. They hardly ever get paid a bonus even if they have raised over a million dollars for a charity just because they haven't reached some stupid KPI or whatever. They never praise good work or even bother to retain good staff, instead they fill positions by recruiting staff that are under qualified after firing a person who has worked there for 6 years.The upper management - the so called owner of the company acts like a 2 year old. She cannot stand anyone who is better than her or who clashes with her personality and fires them. She puts the whole office on a warning just cause she feels like it. She only gets along with either people who are dull and boring or not competition. People sell their souls when they work there. I really hope they change and make the work environment a little better. I know its about raising funds but they act like they own you and they can govern your life. If you believe in human rights then this company doesn't stand for them. For people who think they are doing a good job by working there, let me tell you that upper management grabs all the money and profits and you get nothing. Work or volunteer directly for and NGO - its more effective and you feel better. Thats what I am doing now and its so much more rewarding.

So guys if you ever get a call from this number - answer the call because the fundraiser is genuine and they think they are actually saving the world. You are most likely going to enjoy the call and updates. Ask they questions and have a great conversation BUT when it comes to them asking you for money just tell to take you off their list and that you don't want to be called again. That way, you WILL NEVER RECEIVE calls again.

The message you have on your answer phone is hopeless and annoying .If you identified yourselves on your message properly as a fundraising call,and let people know you are phoning because they are subscribers  it would save  supporters time and money  in trying to return your call and wondering if you are hoax callers.
I was actually reading this page trying to work out who you were when I got a call from WWF who I was happy to hear from but I had already  wasted my time phoning you and then googling to find out who this number is.

Allegedly team leaders working for a certain "charity fundraiser" force staff to call (harass) sponsors so many times that sponsors cancel support for the charity. Unconscienable if true..

Yes I'm sure people get annoyed but you have to understand that its not a perfect world we live in.
We don't live in a third world country where people beg on the streets rather a phone call from a charity than ppl knocking on my door or even asking me on the street when im in a rush to go places.
As you can see, You simply can't accept the fact that majority of these charities that 2evolve represent are charities that are non for profit or recieve very little government assistance like 2% for the year.
Personally i bet you people wouldn't have the slightest idea of what goes on in this world huddeld in their little bubble.
And besides  a little contribution here and there to charities that really need it goes a long way.
And if your a tight ass to help out financially every once and awhile then you should try living in a country in asia where kids eat out of bins on the street , there are no medical help for people with no money.you see i can't see the fuss is about,i bet you wouldnt last a day doing what 2evolve do by helping these charities.

at the end of the day 2evolve is just trying to meet the sales point to raise money for the organisations that greatly need it, one day it might be you who needs the help of a charity and i hope the workers at 2evolve deal with people all like yourself and don't get the support they need so you manage to suffer like people from all accross the globe that go with out.

Well as a past employee of 2evolve, I am not against the work that charities do, infact I totally agree with everything the NGO's stand for. I am however very angry with 2evolve as a company and the work ethic there. Yes they maybe raising funds but the upper management treats they staff with absolutely no respect and they just fire people as and when the owner gets worms up her ass. Its a [***] company and it will collapse as all their talented staff get fired and they hire crap.
