    I work for a completely different fundraising organisation to 2evolve (which by the way, says you earn commission when you work for them on all the job ads I have seen for them), and none of the charities mentioned here are the one we fundraise for. I definitely do not make anything from commission at all, and I do happen to care very passionately about the cause I am working to support. Sure, we are trained, but we have to be in order to do our job, it's the same as any other job. If we weren't trained, you would be complaining about how "unpolished", "uninformed" or "inexperienced" we sounded. We only call back if you either agree to have a follow up call, or if you sign up for donations. Everyone at the company I work for are all very knowledgeable about our cause, and we wouldn't last very long if we weren't passionate. Most of the employees stay back after hours to do extra work and try to improve things and generally help people more, so maybe you should stop being deliberately ignorant and not attack the people who do this work because they care.

    I have 2 calls, one after the other from this number just then - no message left.  I have my number registered on the "do not call" register so it "shouldn't" be a telemarketer - called it - it's 2 Evolve I couldn't leave a message - however "they look will contact me again and look forward to speaking with me".  I know I won't be answering

    your all stupid idiots
    clearly if you sign up to a charity, you have the choice of receiving calls or not, and you all have clearly not said NO CALLS
    so your fault for being ignorant, it's a charity which means they always want money, so stop complaining.
    the calls are for thanking you and for updates , and reasonable asks for money, if you have a computer to vent about how they are calling you, think about the millions of people in third world countries that this company is trying to speak for who don't have computers, mobile phones or food.
    stop taking everything for granted and complaining!!!!

    I actually work on behalf of 2evolve, and most of you guys has seriously got it wrong when it comes to our company. No we do not work for commission what so ever, and no we do not scam people for their credit or debit details. We are a proper company set up to work on behalf of charities raising money for them, BECAUSE THIS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO DO SO. Yes, we do get paid for it but lets be realistic, hiring volunteers to work year in and out calling on behalf of all these charities is a very unlikely task.

    To prove how successful 2evolve actually is, it is expanding and raising more money than ever at a rapid rate. It began as a small fund raising room working on behalf of one charity with 4 people calling. Today, it has over 100 people working in one room for many different charities including Amnesty, WWF, Childfund, MSF, WSPA, Care Australia, Make A Wish.. and so much more. It recently has done deals to call on behalf of Save The Children, Royal Brisbane Childrens Hospital, The Spastic Centre and a few more which I cannot remember. How do I know all this? Its because I am currently calling on behalf of these charities and we are doing a wonderful job. The company is now opening up an office in New Zealand and should be set up fully in the next few weeks. Next stop is the US and Canada. If these facts don't make 2evolve legit then I don't know what does.

    And as annoying as it is receiving constant calls from these guys, most of us do understand that it is frustrating for the supporters. But have you actually thought to pick up the phone, and just ask politely if they can take you off the calling list because you dislike constantly receiving calls? It makes our job and your life so much easier if this is done. That way we won't keep calling you and won't do so in the future, and can continue to do what we do and speak to people that have a fair interest in what we do.

    2evolve is doing great things with many charities and is doing great work, if you dont want calls, then thats fine but do not sit there and let it ring and ring for days and get worked up about it because there is a much simple solution. It saves everyone time and money in the end so please have respect for what we do. If it was not for us, half of these charities that employ us (yes they buy out a contract with us for the hours we call, we do not take a significant cut on the money that is made) would not be able to achieve what they have in the last 10 or so years.

    Use your common sense guys!

    For heaven's sake. This is ridiculous. I think I have received hundreds and never answered one.

    Thank you to Alf; I hope the information you provided there is accurate. I just sent an email (now afraid of spam!). I suggest everyone do the same - you can use my wording if you like. Maybe send an email every time they call? Haha.

    Hi there,

    I am writing to request that you stop calling my number: 0423 914 xxx.

    I have received absolutely oodles of calls from you and have never
    answered a single one, and never will, because I do not want to speak
    to you.

    Save your resources and do not call me again.

    Sincerely,

    <me>

    The person who keeps saying "Its NOT a telemarketing call, just answer the phone" must work for the company! I will be once again reporting them and the company to the appropriate government departments. SO STOP IT!

    I'm amazed that people keep posting this is a telemarketing company. Read the posts on hear and you can see that they are a company used by charities to raise money and help info people who have GIVEN their number to the charity. Unbelievably naive posters hear - please read up on the company before you go trashing a company that seems to be doing a good thing for great charities. Cheers.

    Having unfortunately spent/wasted 4 weeks of employment working with the amateurs at 2evolve, I'm now in the position to shine a light on how they operate.

    Firstly let's kick off with a fact that may not surprise anyone. They have a 80% employee turnover. I'm surprised the doors into the office just aren't replaced with revolving doors to save the wear & tear on the hinges. When I noticed the high turnover in the little time I was there, I was told that "Some people just can't handle it" & "Some people just aren't cut out for this type of work".. it would have been far more honest to say "Some people have a moral compass which they prefer to follow instead." On the first day of starting work, you go through a training session. And inbetween being told what an amazing difference in people's lives you are going to make, two things are sprung upon you;

    1) You're not given a headset, you have to pay for it by the amount being direct debited from your first few wages.
    2) You have to supply your own passport photo for your swipe card ID, oh you have to pay a deposit on the swipe card as well.

    Both of payments are returned to you should you leave 2evolve, however. But still, for such a professional front these two things are very unexpected and rightfully so should start alarm bells ringing. But hey, don't let that bother you; after all, remember what an amazing difference you're going to make in people's lives? Yeah.

    In fact, the "making a difference in someone's life" to myself turned into two teamleader's instructing me to "don't bother with arranging a call back if a supporter wants to discuss the decision with their partner; make their mind up for them - thats what you should be doing" So the difference in someone's life turned out to be my own when I quit on the spot.

    If you support a charity and receive a call from 2evolve, contact your charity and voice your concerns about them being affiliated with these organization. They really are the McDonalds of charity marketing.

    Totally agree with the above, i actually worked as at the company for a very long time. The way everything is run is HIGHLY HIGHLY unethical and you should all be very concerned that apart of YOUR money is going towards the money hungry directors of the company. They claim to be the best fundraising company.. maybe so. but the way they treat their staff is absolutely horrific. It's another Human rights case all together. They try and guilt trip you without you knowing.

    THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU ASSOCIATE YOURSELVES WITH THESE CHARITIES THAT HIRE 2EVOLVE! I would recommend you all voice your opinions of the company to the charities. Think about it, some of YOUR hard earn cash is being pocketed by a money hungry, tasteless bimbo who lives in a nice house in the northern beaches.

    The company is 2evolve (http://www.2evolve.com.au/contact.asp).  They work on behalf of many not-for-profit organisations as a calling service.

    If they're annoying you, give them a call on 1300 364 170 (head office number) and ask to be removed from their calling list.

    Hi there
    I used to work for 2evolve PTY Limited on a casual employee basis and was only there for a short while. I am absolutely shocked and upset about the way they treat their staff there. After the third shift i was told to improve my sales or i will be let go! I found it to be a highly stressful place and pressure is put onto you for sales and conversions into monthly donations! Not only this, they take out a deposit for your headset (which i never received) of $100 and $25 for your security swipe card, totalling $125 out of your first two week pay. I resigned, and the monies still subsequently came out. I believe that the charities which outsource to companies to fundraise for them, should look at the way they treat their staff and the high turnover of staff as well as how many times supporters are getting called, because it can leave a bad taste in many people's mouths and word of mouth spreads quickly!
