Recevied call from this number 25/08/10. Tell me I had a problem with me computer saying it was running slow and I had down loaded some files which had infected my computer. She (an asain 'lady') told me to switch on my computer and she would be able to help me sort it out. Have had these calls before from different numbers, but decided to wind her up by telling her I was following her instructions untill I started laughing. I hung up they called a few times directly after as I think she thought I was really following her instructions.    -    Will see if she calls back today  -

THIS GUY/WOMAN CALLED MY PARENTS' HOME... THIS GUY IS OBVIOUSLY MENTALLY INDISPOSED... IS IT JUST SOME [***] ASIAN GUY PHONING FOLK USING THIS NUMBER OR A WHOLE HOST OF NATIONALITIES?

I was phoned on Wednesday but they hung up as soon as I said hello.


I imagine it will only be a matter of time before they start phoning people offering a 'nuisance phone call barrier' service. All you have to do is give them your credit card deals and all the nuisance calls will stop.

Just had my second call from 034009054

Indian/Pakistani fellow phoned today claiming his company was employed by Microsoft to assist Windows users whose computers were running slowly. He asked me to switch on but I simply left him hanging on until eventually the line went dead. When I hung up he rang back.  I accused him of trying a scam which he denied vehemently but then he would wouldn't he.

Got a call from this number, saying he was calling from Windows technical support. He said my computer was sending messages to windows reporting the Copernicus virus. Please turn on your computer so we can sort it out. I told I wouln not and put the phone down

They answered after a pause (sounded like an international connection made by an automated dialer) but they didn't continue the call beyond saying hello; I did respond with our business name here and then they hung up.

When I tried to return the call it was not recognised.

Caller from this number bombarded about 50 calls over 2 weeks and couldn't understand "no i dont want to talk". Claims to be someone called George who has a strong indian accent and at first said he was in london uk then said dehli. Trying to sell compensation for accident and injuries and another time asked about a sky box.

I was called today by 034009054...... Number changes everytime.... Asking for my bank details ect...
I told him "Having fun with your scam?"
He said "Errrr..." Hangs up....
Don't think they will call again....

I just had a call from 034009054, for the 3rd time today! Asian sounding man called....Dennis Matthews lol
These people knew my name, address and who I banked with and wanted me to verify my account details so I could claim bank charges back,
so basically they wanted my bank details so they could clear my account out!
Don't tell them ANYTHING at all please.

Had 3 calls today, each time I said hello, no reply but obviously someone on the other end, so I just waited not saying anything, after about 40 - 50 seconds they hung up. Also had a call from an Indian woman,  on about government scheme for wall insulation and loft insulation; there was an obvious delay (either automated dialing for sales or delayed connection from abroad) so said not interested thanks and hung up. Then had a call from an Indian gentleman, stating market research; as soon as he said it I replied with sorry don't have time and hung up.Then a call from another Indian gent about credit and debt management, again I said not interested thanks and hung up.

When hubby came home, phone went, and again no response when I answered, I started having a rant to my hubby saying the phone had driven me mad today, re above and he asked me what the number was, it was 034009054, so he googled it and found this site!

So that is 4 calls in one day with no one saying anything from the other end, and three calls from people with Indian accents re loft insulation, market research and debt management, now wondering if these were from this same number. I will certainly be looking out for it and making sure I double check caller ID before answering in future!!

got a call saying they were from sky asking me my name, my address and postcode, then put the phone down.

my wife took a call from this number,[***] wanted £50 for insurance for our sky  dish
when my wife refused he threatened to switch our sky off.
we were warned about this scam to get your bank details from sky themselves

DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY DETAILS SUCH AS YOUR DATE OF BIRTH, YOUR BANK DETAILS, AND  IF THEY GIVE YOU YOUR ADDRESS ASKING YOU TO CONFIRM IT,  TELL THEM THEY HAVE THE WRONG ADDRESS EVEN IF THEY ARE RIGHT.  CON THEM JUST LIKE THEY TRY TO CON US.

They have been ringing me for months I have caller ID so I have never answered. I always check numbers I do not recognise on here. This is an Indian Number as I have checked that too. Caller ID is a gift and in a time when so much information about us is available the cost is minimal compared to the time saved on answering these calls. I just hope not too many people have fallen for whatever scam they are running.

just had 15 phone calls to day from this number today.10 in last 8 minutes

I have had a couple of silent calls from this number recently, the last was yesterday morning 6th September 2010.

Just had a call from 034009054, the foreign guy said he was from SKY, I said ok, he then asked me if I had a Sky box, I said if your from sky you should be able to tell me if I have one, he said he only wanted to know if I had a SKY box? I told him again if he was realy from SKY he should be able to tell me if I had SKY.
He then hung up.
Wish I knew who to report the *&%$£*&" number to!
