this caller rang back again - this time using an american accent - have logged the caller number with telephone provider - they can then trace the owner and will give the information to the police.

HAD A CALL TODAY FROM 034009054 SAYING HE WAS FROM MICROSOFT AND SAID MY INTERNET PROVIDER REPORT TO MICROSOFT THAT MY CONNECTION WAS RUNNING SLOW. HE WANTED ME TO SWITCH MY COMPUTER ON AND HE WOULD SORT IT OUT. I DID NOT DO IT. I JUST PUT THE PHONE DOWN.

I had missed calls from this number for days.  Finally when I did pick up the phone they said I could have a high interest credit card, I am sick of these calls and slammed the phone down. I dont give my number to anyone but family and I am registered with the TPS but I still get sales calls day and night.

This number has been calling me about 4 times a week for a few months, always with a foreign accent and usually late at night.   I was told if you pick up the phone to these idiots you go on a mug list and they sell your number to other foreign chancers. I got so fed up with this and other pratts like them. I have got myself  a Truecall answer machine, I'm not advertising this product, just telling everyone it WORKS.  I've not had another pratt call from anywhere since I've had it.  It's not cheap, but I think it's worth every penny.  When my phone rings now I know I will not hear anyone I don't want to hear.

She was saying somthing about BT couldn not understand a word she was saying.

had a call from this number< 3rd today>, and usually 4 days a week!!! i am at my wits end ,they allways ask for a Mrs Clark n when i strt telling them no1 stays here by that name they put phone dwn,  or ring,stop,ring,stop etc! i have got to the point as soon as i hear hello mrs clark? i shout "french words" dwn the phone isnt there a way other than the telephone register to stop these calls? :0(

Just rec'd a call from an asian sounding gentleman claiming that they had information that my computer was running slow,  I said it was fine and he immediately hung up!  Selling something no doubt, sounded dodgy.

I have received 10 calls in 4 days all from a witheld number but one on the above number and all before 7pm.  I answered one from a man who knew my name but was hard yo understand.  He said he was calling on somebod'y behalf (inaudible) and something was wrong with my computer speed.  I said I had no problems and he put the receiver down

call from this number on 27 sep 2010 at 11.45am. Caller held up after ist ring. Strange.

Had a call from person with Indian accent, saying he was calling from government. I informed him my number was registered with TPS and he became very abusive

this number called today - someone called JOHN - with Asian accent. Said he was doing short survey. I said I had to go as grocery delivery man at door = Had no intention of carrying our survey and giving personal details.  Also had enough as this is the 7th cold call today and its only 3pm! It must be THE DAY for cold calls!!!!

asian man, claimed he could see i was on a laptop and that he was from microsoft and after denying this he hung up.

29/09/10 1128hrs - Had a call from this lot. The usual; asian sounding female who then hung up. About time the government started to crack down on this pain in the backside activity. My parents would certainly worry if they had calls like this. Next time I intend to tell them quite 'bluntly' to stop ringing as, after all, it is unsolicited and impolite contact which disturbs me on my day off.

Had a call from this number today.  Said I had spoken to them last month about nuisance calls.
They said they would give a a security code where if these calls come through they would have to give code that they would have to quote.   Then went on about package they would send me.  Then they said ther would be a one off payment for £44plus for this action.  Then started to ask for my card details. I said I don't give my details over the phone and put the phone down.

29/09/10 5 CALLS SINCE FRIDAY  THE TWO THAT I HAVE ACTUALLY SPOKEN TO, A MALE PERSON OF ASIAN /ACCENT WAS ABOUT A SKY INSURANCE ON SKY BOX TOLD HIM WE DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE .SECOND ANSWERED CALL, ALONG THE SAME LINES COULDNOT COFIRM HE WAS FROM SKY I THINK HE CAME UP WITH SATELLITE DIRECT [ DIFFICULT ACCENT] 3 CALLS TONIGHT LET IT RING, NO ONE ON LINE ANS SERVICE

Caller asked to speak to home owner,(asian accent), then said they were from microsoft technical team and that they could see that our computer was running slowly and needed fixing.  At this point I hung up, obviously a scam, got their number from 1471, this scam has been around for quite a time now, dont fall for it folks!

Calling regarding my computer running slow and wanting to know which windows I had and did I have a laptop

I have had two calls now, one at home, telling me my laptop IP address was sending virus' to the Microsoft servers and they need me to let them access it remotely so they can irradicate them. I asked if they were defeating McAffee, Malware bites and Windows defender? He said yes so I told him I didnt have a laptop and with that he said 'huh' and hung up.
Today had a woman - asian? - asking me my age and if I had a pension and that if I gave her the details of my pension the company whose name I didnt understand - the accent thing - they would increase, tax free, the amount I got each month by 25%. Too good to be true, probably yes as when I told her I wasnt going to tell her she hung up. I have caller ID at work so now will ignore 034009054 in future. I also get calls from 091148 who wanted to know what gas provider I have. I told him to get lost and then he had the nerve to tell me I had to tell him as he was doing a survey, and he would get the sack if I didnt tell him what he wanted to know. I can hope so he wont be calling me again.

have had a few calls from this number. everytime I answer they just hang up. Won't sell me much like that

Was made aware off this number as it had phoned a friend about her computer and the poor lass fell 4 it so when it phoned me i question  why was his first question 2 do with my pc not if i was having problems and the more i question the more annoyed the bloke was getting and then he had the nerve the call me names
