protection against nuisance phone calls!!!

very pushy indeed, hung up as soon as I questioned where she obtained my number.

had 3 calls from this number all within 5 minutes the first 2 i did 1472 and it said number with held the last 1 it gave me this number so i thought i would google it. nobody said a word to me just hung up! grr! i have now unplugged my phone as i have baby tryin to sleep with out the hassle of some idiots ringing me.

This number has been calling my elderly mother repeatedly and it is worrying her.  Please investigate.

Hello Sir, I'm calling today from [...] Computer Maintenance. The reason for this call is that our system is reporting that your computer is infected with a virus. Were you aware of this problem?

The call was from an asian lady, number withheld.

I keep being pestered by calls from this number 034009054, along with many other people it appears. Can nothing be done about it? Some idiot obviously has a lot of time on their hands - pity they cannot find something more worthwhile to do.F

phones every week an asian man asks if i have received a letter from their company about debt advice i have told him to not call again because i am not in debt but he must ignore me

Male with asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft support in central London. Basically said I had fault on my copy of Windows, asked me to go through a string of so called checks on my computer and said they needed to open up to microsoft srver. Smelt a rat, eventually he suggested I was using a pirated copy of Windows and would need to renew. I wasn't happy, and when he refused to give me a number to call back on after I had made enquiries, I said I was terminating the call, he got nasty and said if I did he(they) would crash/cshut down my computer. Well I did and they didn't. Got to be a scam, Microsoft aren't going to phone someone out of the blue.

Had four calls between 20.00 &20.35 today 09.09.10.
Line dead when answered and then they hung up.
Then recieved three calls 20.35 to 20.45. (Number unknown)

Asian man with poor English said he was from Microsoft and returning a call re our computer running slow - no one had rang microsoft - told him i didn't know anything about computers - he hung up.

'wrong number' was the reply when informed we were registered with TPS

Just got a call from this number saying they were some finacicial services organisation.. told them wasnt interested....\Told me to F*** OFF.!!!!!! I'd really like to get my hands on this NUMB NUTS!!!!!

Had a call from this number saying they would reduce my credit/loan/store card debt.  I asked where they had got my number from and the Asian woman said a survey in my area - when I asked how she had got information about my debt she again said from a survey in my area.  I got very annoyed as I nor my husband owe any body a single penny not even a catalogue debt!!

Five calls in the space of 15 minutes. Caller always rang off when I answered. 1471 produced no caller the first time, after that they didn't seem to bother and I got 034009054 as the caller. Don't know if they are waiting for me to ring them back, at my expense, or perhaps for a friendly female voice. It's bloody rude and annoying. I left the phone on (landline, of course) and tucked it under a cushion, to drown out the off-the-hook warning, for a couple of hours so that I could work without further distraction. Seems to have worked for the moment. Trouble is, the people behind this sort of call probably read blogs like this to find out how people deal with them. I think there's a definite need for legislation to deal with them.

I received a few calls from this 034009054 number yesterday; the first couple of times the phone cut-off when I answered it. On the third occasion a man with an Asian accent asked me If I had a computer etc. etc etc. I said I did but I was only staying at this address (my elderly mothers house!). I asked him to call again at 6 o'clock today when the householder would be here. He called on time today and I took the call while sat at my computer.  He said he was from some internet malware detection firm based in London (I asked him where he was based). Anyway, to cut a long story short it was related to the www.logmein123.com SCAM - (that is what he asked me to type in the 'run' command on my PC) - of course I didn't, having checked the url in Google while he was talking, and found they were trying to gain remote access to my computer. I told him I knew he was a known scam alert, told him never to call this number again, and hung up.

034009054 called me. An Indian/asian gent declared that he was calling from Microsoft Windows and could help me with problems I had reported on my PC. Since I have not reported any probs, I told him I did not believe him. "You don't believe me? Oh! Goodbye then"

I had an asian man call me today from this phone number 034009054, he knew my name and said he wanted to discuss with me my unsecured debts including my loans. He gave me a speech but his accent was so strong i couldnt really understand most of what he said. Once he had finished i told him that i do not discuss my finances over the phone and said goodbye as i was hanging up i heard him shouting agressively.  Little runt - hope it does not become a regular caller like he seems to be for other people.

I phoned talk talk to try and get his number barred and they said it would cost £3.66 a month - think thats ridiculous it should be free.

Someone asking me to answer survey questions.

i get about 3 calls a day from asian/indian people i missed the 034009054 number. dose anyone think it has anything to do with talk talk sharing details? ive heard a few storys like this and they are all talk talk customers.

this scammer did a slam down this time. Pretended to be from Microsoft last time he rang here.  I checked with my son about that and he told me that Microsoft never ring anyone and if they do call you all have an american accent - not badly spoken english by an asian man.
