Keep getting a call to our ansaphone. Play back = lots of background office chatter (call centre ?). Then hangs up.

I have received my second call from this number  034009054. The first was about a week ago and they rang off as soon as I had said 'Hello'. I did the 1471 number to find out who it was. I did not know the number and resisted  the invite to return the call.

Today it was at 1-0 pm. I dialled the 1471 number to get the callers number.

When the caller spoke to me today, it was so fast that I had no idea what he said. It was a strong Asian accent which suddenly became very clear when he asked me if the number he quoted me was correct.  I said 'yes and HOW did you get my number as it is X-directory' He said he was sorry and rung off.

This is an accurate report of what happened.  I am 78 years old and do not need this.

Just who are these people.

Have just read on another site, who is also recording these nuisance calls, that TalkTalk cannot bar this number   034009054 because it is an International one. I belong to the Telephone Preference Service  and TalkTalk but cannot get details to report this International caller(s) because of their hard to understand speech.  I'm pretty sure when we subscribed to TalkTalk originally, we were told they automatically barred nuisance calls.  As they are aware of this nuisance caller(s) why have they not done something about it?  Curiouser and curiouser.  Especially as my number is X-directory.

Just had a call from this number asking something about Windows 95 that I am apparently using….not on my Mac I'm not. I only have to suffer Windows at work thanks very much!!!

Just received a call from this number. They hung up as soon as I answered. I'm not about to ring them back. Did 1471 and got this number 034009054.
I'm fed up with people cold calling me trying not to sell me something. Yeah right. am I'm the queen of Sheba!!

Asian guy claiming I had a problem with a computer virus and asked me to log onto windows explorer.  I tagged him along for a bit then he hung up on me.  This is the only way to get at these people.  Just play along, give them as much false information as possible and have a laugh to yourself as they agree with all the lies you are telling them.  Finish the call by calling them a bunch of scamming bxxtxxds.

Just had a call from this number, the guy was trying to make out he was from Microsoft support centre. He then try to prove to me that my computer was infected with a virus, and advise me to download Teamviewer, (remote computer access program), with this advice I hung up. he then tried to ring back twice after this. warning to all out there do not under any circumstances download any remote computer access program when told by any unknown third party.

when does this caller get the message - oh maybe in one more calls' time as this person is a very busy nuisance - but he is being logged as a malicious caller with our telephone provider - one more call and they trace him and pass his number on to the police.  Maybe this saddo gets his kicks this way!

I just got a call from a man (Asian Indian) who claimed to be calling from the Window Service Center and that I should go to the www.ammyy.com web site and click a button which gives a ID code so he can get into my computer to show me the corrupt 'dll' files which has corrupted nearly 80% of my computer!  Then another customer service rep came on and explained that they could fix everything and continue to monitor my security for the life of the computer for $100.  When I told her that I had to ask my son if he was interested she was very annoyed and asked where he was!  He is in college!  WTF!  I told her to call  back tomorrow!  She gave me a number to call them back 567 252 5219.  The first guy said he was calling all the folks in my zip code because they too have corrupt files destroying their computers!

at 2.30pm today Tuesday 17th May received from "Microsoft Technical Support " a person called Ron who claimed to be a senior technician code no 112611 from My Support Store North Sydnay NSW 2020 phone number 02 80149878.  Wanted to help with server difficulties. Told me to go to www.ammyy.com where id codes were required. I was dubious about this caller so asked for more details. Finally caller hung up.My computer popped up saying this was a security alert! I then told this Ron and call was disconnected.
