Missed calls and no message.

I got a call from this number a few minutes ago.
I answered it but there was no one on the line!

call me like every day, picked up once, was really crackly and distorted.
Indian chick said something about optus or some [***] so just hung up. (could be a scam)
VERY ANNOYING

Just got a call from this number, I answered and the caller hung up.  Strange number so I googled it and found this forum.  I will not return the call and have saved the number as "scam" so I remember not to answer again.

They are from Oceania Customer Interaction Services (Ocis) ringing on behalf of Optus to ask about your service and if you are happy with them, do you need another plan or not.  If you want it to stop then email Taymour Nabulsi  on Taymour.Nabulsi@optus.com.au  or ring 03 9033 7366

Tell them the situation and you want to 'OPT OUT'.  I did.  I just got an email back from them to say they will take me off all their dialer, but it will take at least 4-6 weeks for preferences to flow through.

Do what I do, if I don't know the number, I don't answer.

Keep getting calls after 6pm at night and when I answer it just hangs up. Probably some one in marketing just making their quota ? Very annoying.

Getting calls from this number the last couple days asking for my details. Getting really sick of it!

I have had about 50 missed calls from this number and its driving me insane!!!! they call at all hours of the day.

Send an email to Taymour.Nabulsi@optus.com.au  or ring 03 9033 7366 .  I did.  I just got an email yesterday saying that I am now off their dialing list and if I get another call to ring Taymour and he will put a stop to it.

Go on, do it.  Stop complaining about it all.   Put a stop to all their telemarketing crap.  If we all complained then they might just stop it.

It's a fake optus service, it's a scam. Don't give any any info.

these pricks keep waking me up, i work late nights and they call early in the morning, make them stop please!

I got a missed call from number random is it's optus marketing bu it's a scam so it's not actually optus ?
