Keeps calling me & no one is on the line. Just happened again 5 minutes ago. Now I don't hang up & hope the call costs dearly for the caller

Just got a call from them, no message.... they also rang yesterday. I answered it yesterday and it was some Indian woman trying to sell me [***] or get me to upgrade or whatever.

Just had a call from them - an Indian woman asking why I exceeded my call cap. I told them I never exceed it and that I was looking up my info on my MyOptus page. They asked if I ever make international calls to which I said no, they then asked what handset I have to which I responded iPhone 4 before I could even think of anything further. They then said OK thank you and hang up.

Surely is a SCAM - regardless of what the recording says when you ring the number back there is no way it is from Optus

Just had another call from this number. It is a marketing call from Optus. They are trying to sell you more Optus products ie internet & landline, etc.

It is a dialler call so when you answer there is a big delay before someone replies on the other end while it connects. They are not very prompt in identifying themselves but other than that the person was quite polite. I just said I was happy with our current arrangements and to please remove us from their calling list. She politely ended the call. And yes it is an overseas call.

Thanks for this blog, I keep getting missed calls from this number.  They dont even give me a chance to answer the phone (hanging up after just one ring!).  I won't be calling this number back!

Constantly getting calls from this number but no one ever answers.

This number has call me everyday for the past month around the same time, i never pick it up cause i dont know it...

I had Optus Customer Service call and question me about my plan and service coverage

idiots just called me at 8pm to offer me a deal to help with data if its not a scam then its bloody incompetent,
1.they said id gone over my data limit I had not
2.they were way off what my data limit was.
3.the offer would have doubled my cost per MB over
4.he was rude
5.he got confused between MB and GB there is a big difference between the two
6.he wasn't listening to me i asked him to hold a second and he start on as if id agreed to the offer
huge disgrace to the telemarketing industry which already is in the s**t.
one call should not put you on guard within 30 secs and have you immediately Google the number.
its a bloody disgrace

also if you call the number you can ask to be removed from there call list after that bye god can you sue their pants of if you ever get a call from them again.

They don't leave a message and when I try phoning back there is a dead line

same here , they call from this number almost every single day . very annoying

It's a call service for Optus and they phone me on my mobile every so often.

My bill is paid and everything seems in order with my account ....... so I just don't answer them now.

It's annoying that those calls keep happening though.

Its really frustrating! They called me in Class and obviously i wouldnt pick up the number but calling me constantly is frustrating!
