Received this call today on my BT answerphone '07953966066 I repeat 07953966066'.
I did not return the call!!

i got call from them dont know who are

Got this message from 07982810164 which just said 'GROVELANDS' then, if to stop receiving it contact on 07953966066. DON'T or you'll get a £15 bill for just doing it, this is a SCAM number do not reply to it but contact BT or your service provider to get the text message stopped. Don't phone the police as they have no way of stopping this as it comes from outside of the UK generally and will clasify it as a nuisance message meaning nothing will be done.

Various, end of the world, look to the skies, junk calls, all hours of the day andf night.

3 messages yesterday, another 3 today.  We don't have a text facility but Granddaughter (who knows this) is on a Uni project in Africa so we panicked and answered.  More gobbledegook.  I hope we're not charged more than a mobile call.  It said press 3 if you don't want any more messages.  We pray we won't be charged a bomb on a party line or something.  Is there an ombudsman who can zap these pests?

some automated call saying its a reverse charge?? just hang up, this is nearly always a scam! f**kers. go die in hell!

I was at work in the evening and when I went back to my family home my mum said they had a message for me on the Landline but it was actually a text message. My brother asked me if i recognised the number and it was this number. He tried ringing back from his mobile but it went to a machine and cost him £1. Apparently the message - which I couldnt listen to myself was nasty and even said my name. I want to know if its a text sent via someone I know through this service. Hardly anyone knows my landline number and its ex directory.

I just got a text sent to my landline from this number, all I could make out was 'are you ok?'.  I won't be ringing it back and just hope it's a one off!

Got a txt to my landline at 1:30am from this number saying "are you sleepy yet"

Got a call from this number stating to call another number 01872266770 quoting a reference number. when checking both numbers appear to be scams

Received a text message on my landline 10 minutes to midnight saying 'At midnight I am going to break into your house and murder you daughter'.  Very upsetting as I have a young daughter - the police tracked the number to Rochdale and said it was a hoax call.  

I have now barred all text messages to my landline via the 0800 587 5252 BT service.

text call 1210pm friday 25th. did not call back can t mobile block this number.

Got a Text msg on my landline saying that if I didn't respond to the text a doorstep collector would call at the property! That kind of threat is not acceptable.

Just had my 2nd message from 07953 966066.It says you have been left a message,the message reads...."Blank".It then gives you the option of listening to the message again and asks you to ring 07953 966066 if you want to stop receiving these messages.I wouldn't bother ringing it as it is probably a SCAM and you will end up having a rather hefty phone bill!

Automated message repeatedly to home land-line. States it has a text message for me: the message is blank.

Received a 'the message is blank' from this number at 9:20pm. Since we never give out our landline number and never receive calls after 9pm, we immediately checked this site.

Thanks to all suggesting 0800 587 525 - option 1 then 5 bans these kind of calls.

This is a scam. If you don't answer it when it calls a landline, it will keep calling over and over again. Just answer and drop the line to stop it. DO NOT CALL OR TEXT THE NUMBER IT TELLS YOU TO. It says that to stop the text messages coming you need to call it back. If you do that, you may be giving it permission to CHARGE you a premium charge to your phone bill.

Yep, just rang on my mobile. Am with Virgin. Number flashed up and I just thought "who the hell is that?" as all my contact's numbers are on my phone anyway. So let it ring. Weird voicemail message, repeating the number. They can try all they like, am not responding. Not surprised that, when I entered number on Google, it came up more than once!

got a call from this text service, telling me 'im in the hospital, a wooden crusifix fell on my foot and i have broken toes.  please call this number.  think its a scam.. dont call.  a hospital will call you personally if you have a relative there.
