Report a phone call from 07953966066 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Terry| 2 repliesI have received several recorded messages which instruct me to download the tango app. As I have truecall installed due to the level of nuisance calls I had been getting, the initial number seems to have been truncated. However it goes on to say that if I ring 07953966066 I can hear the message again.
Tango is an American company that has an application as they state on their website.:
Tango - FREE voice, video, & text over 3G, 4G, & WiFi!. All Rights Reserved. Tango is a trademark of TangoME, Inc.
If it is a sales call they have lost one potential customer, if it is one of their subscribers then this is another nuisance call which is going to be blocked.- Caller: possibly Tango??
- Terry replies to TerryUpdate to previous message: True call records the originator as coming from this number and that it was a text message, being sent to my landline, which I do not expect to receive texts on. number now blocked.
It MAY be that the start of the message was cut off by true call as the automated caller software did not allow for the true call screening messages, their problem, not mine, as I do not welcome cold nuisance automated calls. - AwaanJust had a call from this number which cut of as soon as I answered (2nd bell). Rang me back again and left a message asking me to ring back.
Checked on this site and this number has a record as far back as 2007. - Laurabasically it's a messaging service that tells you messages sent to your landline, I recognised it was from someone I tried to contact earlier today, the service also gave me options to turn off the service or to receive them at certain times of the day. I am with sky so not sure if they have anything to do with it, as I don't have my voicemail activate yet.
here's hoping it does turn off the service as it's option 3 was to do that.- Caller: Messaging Service Of Some Sort
- Call type: Event reminder
- Pissed Off| 1 replySo basically this nonsense time wasting and possibly money costing scam has been going on for 7 years and not one official body has been able to do anything about it. Shame on the entire world's telecom services. Proof positive that they only care about their profit and dont give a damm about their customers.
- Caller: lowest form of human life
- ShellyBelly77Just had a call from 07953966066 and it was a text message barley eligible, but said something on the lines of needing to borrow a suitcase for a week help me out sexy people. It also said to call if wanting to know more, this must be a scam do not call back !!!!
- trevor| 1 replyI am being pestered by this nuisance call How do I put an end this ,please help
- Blueboy.. replies to trevorHave you got a caller display ?, if not consider getting one they are available from around £30 ,you can then filter out any unwanted calls and just don't answer the phone to that particular number or any withheld or unavailable numbers !...if its important they will leave a message,if its no they wont..,,best of luck anyway .!
- BedpanpusherThis text message on my home phone asked me to call this number as they were out of credit. If they're out of credit how can they receive my call?
- Call type: Prank
- NutsToThis| 1 replyWell, add me to the list of people hassled by this ridiculous number or service or whatever the hell it is! Two untranscribable messages sent to my landline.
7 years? Honestly, does no one care that people are being scammed like this?!- Caller: 07953966066
- Nan replies to NutsToThisReading some of the other posts for this number it seems that this is not a scam. It looks like a similar service to that which is offered by BT. If someone sends a text to your landline by mistake the landline cannot deal with it. This service is to enable you to get the text. Unfortunately, it cannot deal with "textspeak" so the message seems to be garbled. With BT you can go into your account on line and alter your preferences to stop the calls, so it might be worth checking with your provider what you can do. One poster on here realised that the message he/she got was from someone who had his/her landline and mobile number next to each other and had simply hit the wrong key.
- JGot a call at 2 this morning on my landline which gave me a fright obviously not knowing who was phoning and thinking it would be bad news on the other end. By the time I got to the phone it had stopped and had to put the number into my mobile to call it back which was an operated voice from sixline text service if I wanted to stop the calls I was to text a number in this case I'm not prepared to do as i don't know how it started In the first place and it might be worse if I actually txt the number they provided
- Caller: Six line text

- NeilHad two text msgs to my landline five minutes apart, from the number 07953966066. Weird texts made no sense,1st msg "why" . 2nd msg "your name is on the main programme on the telly". A bit strange, does anyone know who this is.
- Call type: Text message
- Lucky Tourist1145 PM on a Sunday night. Computerized voice message about "just going through my contacts and wanted to check in" or something like that. It then left a mobile number that I'm hesitant to call as it didn't pop up as a name in my phone book. WTF?
- DanielleIt is the number used if you send a text to a landline. Nothing to worry about.
