They hung up on me after I asked why they called and refused to give my name. I called them back and said expect a letter from me in the post.

Send them the following as a letter, email or both, I advise both:-

Any further communication to any of my contact numbers or email or home address will incur a service charge or £25.00 per call or email or letter.

This is the only notice of intention you will receive.

This is entirely legal and works, there is recent UK case law of people doing this, companies sometimes refusing to pay but then the courts have forced them to pay and to pay compensation on top and all the legal costs. It's entirely within your legal rights to charge in this way, providing you make the letter/contract very clear.

I've had no calls from them since.

I have been getting calls from these muppets for ages.

So today I decided to have a bit of fun.

I withheld my number and called them about 30 times - they have to answer. I would either scream really loud down the phone when they answered. Pretend I was interested for ages. Complain at them. Turn my music up really loud with my phone to the speaker. Or just say nothing at all and hear them saying 'Thank you for calling Wilson Tarquin, Alex/Ryan/Gareth speaking how can I help.. hello... hello... hello, can you hear me?' It actually really started to pee them off as I always got through  to one of only 3 people, until they eventually asked me to stop wasting their time - the irony! So I did it even more. I think everyone should do this to teach them a lesson.

Just had a call from 01754 629343, a Skegness area number. Rang back out of curiosity, only to find it is Wilson Tarquin, allegedly calling on behalf of USwitch. Looking at the other comments the repeated calls from the 0161 number I have ben getting must be coming from them too. A call to the FCA and the telephone regulator are I order I think!

maybe you should do a bit of homework before you spout shite yourself, ppi etc is big business these days and i know people who have made claims and won decent sums of money, now if thats your interpratation of being robbed or conned then good luck to you, best part is its no win no fee either but hey im sure you know better

I have received over 70 calls from this 'company' in three weeks using a 019 number. Before that I received over 20 from various numbers. I have requested that my contact details be removed from their database,  to no avail. I will now be reporting them to Offcom as I consider this to be harassment. I have niw blocked th eur number but my phone still shows when they gave tried to call. These people are scum!!!!
