    To Avoid these scumbags ring you from there broken computer auto dial (yeah right!) just sign up for TPS and if you still keep getting calls report them. Better still if they still carry on after that report the scum bags to action fraud line and file for harassment.

    It would appear that my promise given by O2 has not happened.
    I am now about to kick-off at O2 on the basis that my calls have stopped but yours havn't. From the last e-mail sent by O2 this was the reply:

    Further to my last email, I’ve now established that the calls you received were not made from a mobile phone but came from a landline. The caller seems to be presenting the disconnected mobile number. I don’t have the landline number but we will be attempting to contact the company concerned and ask them to stop presenting the mobile number to called parties.

    As regards stopping the calls, you should register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). You’ll find all the information about what they do on the following website: http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/
    The TPS is a free service  etc etc etc.

    Last time I sent about 10 emails over 24 hours. Oh to be a fly on the wall when / if she opens her email on Monday to find 100s of emails.

    I have had numerous calls from this number but they ring off as I attempt to answer.  I am disabled and the way I now feel could be thought of as illegal because I would like to do some serious personal harm to the caller as it sometimes results in injury to me as I fall.

    Sick to death of receiving calls from these morons!! I have been getting these calls from this number for around a year now, and I am receiving several a day. They appear to have changed their name again to Samuel Jones now, but it was Samuel Brookes about a fortnight ago! They continually ask me if I want to make a claim for an accident which I had in 2010, however I wasn't even injured in the accident and the case was closed AGES ago! The problem is, I have been involved in a recent accident (neither of which were my fault) and so I get very confused when I receive calls from this lot as I am never sure whether I am speaking to people who are genuinely dealing with my recent accident or whether I am being harassed YET AGAIN by these idiots! I am currently off work due to my injuries and the stress is exacerbating my injuries and pain, not to mention continually having to get up to answer the phone, etc. I already suffer bad with anxiety and this is making my life a living hell! These people ought to be disgusted with themselves making people suffer this way! When I speak to them and ask to be removed from their calling list I either receive all the answers I want to hear and then the calls continue, or I receive an aggressive or intimidating reply!

    I used to work for this company and to be quite honest with you it more alot of money. The company used to use a dialer system that calls around give numbers at one time automatically. When one person picks up the phone, the other calls are disconnected but it can lead to people picking up there phone at a similar time and no advisor being on the line. The company is currently not using a dialer as it has Web a major increase in profits since paper data has been used. The P.P.I department are still using a automatic dialer. A few pieces of advice. First of all manners don't cost anything so be nice and your number will be removed immediately. Also actually look into making a claim, because each hear you have to pay higher insurance premiums, which is funding fraudulent claim makers. So by making a claim yourself you would be covering the rise of the premium. Also don't be a [***] because if a advisor is bored they will set you up on the callback system. I have now left the company as I have been given a better opportunity, but to be honest the advisors there do earn quite alot of cash off the clients that claim. Feel free to post abuse.

    Brilliant, love the info.

    I decided to fight back today after having received multiple daily calls for months, for Mr Sean Robinson, as you can probably assume they even have my name wrong. I have just used your info to register a complaint to the TPS.

    However my real victory today was the joy at turning the tables on the caller. As soon as they ask to speak to Sean......I Know its a TPS complaint.

    So I ask who's calling, where they are calling from and then calmly inform them I dont know Sean Robinson and that I will be informing the TPS. This is much more satisfying than shouting  PLEASE TAKE ME OFF THE DATABASE I DONT KNOW WHO SEAN ROBINSON IS!

    Got 3 phone calls within 5 minutes today, after having already told them we are not interested.
    Call One- 'Dave' from Samuel Brooks. We asked where they had got our number and asked them not to call again.

    Call 2- Some calling from SB. We asked them what 'SB' stands for and were told Samuel Brooks. Told them not to call again and in no uncertain terms to GO AWAY!

    Call 3- Voice on end of phone singing 'Happy Birthday to you'

    All calls came from phone number 0161 8330545

    I used to work within the company myself and the system that was used in the center was called Daverik and Debtsolve which were very out of date and half the time do not reconnise TPS reg numbers and I used to get abuse about this on many times but the company that employs the staff is WGSML LTD and you are not the only people that they have wound up as they have to me owning me lots of money but the call center is a Manchester Based one.

    The agents who work for this company are just doing their jobs at the end of the day, the people who you should target are the owners. See details below, and for info they do use an autodialler which is totally indiscriminate i.e random calls to any number.

    I have had 2 calls in 2 days at my place of work from Samuel Brooks about a minor parking incident 18 months ago. This is the 3rd company who have called like this and I have had about 20 calls altogether. The culprit is Direct Line, I have written to them and complained bitterly and they have denied it. They are no longer my insurers.
