silent calls

have contacted the police and orange about this and neither can help because of data protection. I just get silent calls and when i ring back get the orange answer phone.

how do i stop u calling me?

or, wen we call simply tell us u are not interested and to put u down as not interestested and not back through the system

excuse me but i dont give out my mobile number and dont fill in any surveys. the only reason i am on this is because  my friend also has these calls and told me about this website. you are a nuisance and if i wanted your busy i would contact you. but seeing as i have no financial problems i wont.

but then how the hell did u get my number when i dont give my number out and i dont fill in surveys, basically you are getting the numbers from somewhere and using them to contact me and never say anything over the phone, all you do is stay silent and then when i return the call it goes to a voicemail that is full. tell me how i can stop you calling me and i will gladly fill in that survey!

I have been getting a call from 07975825284 for about 2 weeks now and I am worried as our number is both Ex. Directory and is registered with 'Telephone Preference Service (TPS)'.  I have contacted Orange using the Link Andrew R sent (Thanks Andrew) and demanded that Orange block the said number or I will seek legal action.  I hope Orange will comply and we can all finally get some peace from this annoying number.

I have been getting calls from 07975825284 for the last 3 weeks and it is getting stupid on Saturday I had 10 calls the last one was 11.28pm !! I have just contacted orange and they told me to change my number or go to the police.Has anybody else gone to the police ?

I very much doubt u were called at 11.28pm, we finsh work at 6 on a weekend!!!

In  regards to Ryans comment, that to stop them calling is to ask them to stop and to take your name off.I have asked the company not to call and to take my name off on at least 6 occasions and my mum has asked them on another 3 occasions yet they still phone several times a day. If they have got my details from some survey fine, but i dont usually give out my home number as it is ex -directory as we were getting nuisances calls.

I have reported it to orange, ofcom and tps now so im hoping it will stop if not i will need to take it further. What i would like to know is why phone on a mobile phone and when you call it back it goes straight on to answering machine.

They keep ringing me about 5 times a day, have never answered but my boyfriend did and they knew my name. Definately something fishy going on with them, let's get them stopped it's not right.

Yeah same as everyone else. Answered phone only for the other end to go dead. Is it possible to get individual numbers barred?

I went to the web address that Ryan gave www.amanico.uk.com/ and got the telephone number, they are a telemarketing company that works with financial connections. I have put in a complaint and asked for my name to be removed so hopefully that will be the end of it. I suggest everyone does the same to put a stop to it all together. I also phone the other english company that was suggested on this website, they only work with businesses and dont contact Scotland where i am so i dont think it is them they were really surprised and are investigating it also. I also phoned the one suggested in Falkirk and that just rings and rings.

I think it is definantly the amanico one, as the guy on the phone said they were experiencing technical difficulties which one of the women said when they phoned from that number. I was also told the technical team can tracked down who phoned you and if they were rude to you then they can also find out who that is.
Fingers crossed it is all finished.
