They keep calling my direct workline which I don't give out. I have not had anymore talk to me yet, and have tried calling back but just get told that the person is unavailable. I think I am getting on average 3-5 calls. Perhaps they are put of because of the way I answer the phone? It is a pain and I can't block the number because it is not my mobile.

I have received this call at least 4 times per day on my work phone, luckily I have caller display.  When I answer they hang up.  I tried ringing it back but it goes straight to answer phone. Has anybody figured a way to stop it.

My 14 year old daughter has collectively had around 30 calls from this number since november 9th 2007. And unless somebody has put her number on a survey i cant see how they would have got it?  

If this continues (ive emailed the company suggested to be responsible on here to asked them to stop) i will be contacting the police and filing a statement for harrasment on the grounds of:-

1, Ringing a child 4 or 5 times a day
2, if she does answer the phone theres no-one there (Scary if your only 14!)
3, The caller not answering when i call them back

I know this course of action wont get me very far but it will allow me to pursue this company through the courts a lot quicker.

This is now very serious, and im not the type of father to step down. I think all of the people recieving calls on this post are over 18, so when they ring my daughter, i have no choice but to step in and get involved.

Without giving away my profession i do know my way around the legal system extremely well. There's currently several cases in preparation for the courts regarding text bullying and if this company can't see the way they are operating could be interpreted as harrasment, then i wish them good luck when i see them in court.

Like everybody else: this number keeps ringing me for days now without leaving a msg. Unfortunately I always missed the calls and can't ring back and leave a msg. I've now sent a text asking them to stop. It doesn't work. I find it very suspicious and very annoying. Can one ask the phone company to block numbers?

Have had over 50+ calls from this no..never answer it and they never leave a message...googled the number and come up with this thread...starting to really **** me off..i have texted them and asked to stop the ringing , we will see what happens.

Whoever this is was doing my head in. They call me every half an hour. At least i know i am not alone.

I've had about 5 calls today - 3 of which I answered and said 'No' that guys not in...

I looked at my call log and they rang 4/5 times yesterday too!

I have had this number ringing me for the past 3 days at all times of the day and night and also when i call back,i get the orange answerphone. this is obviously something very dodgy and i warn everyone about this number!

hi i have just typed the rouge number into the google search expecting nothing to come up and i find this web site.I have had loads of call from this number to my landline.
It concerns me as only family have my landline number as a emergancy as we use mobiles to keep in contact.
I have tried on several occassions to call it back but the message i get is THE PERSON YOU ARE CALLING IS UNAVALIBLE.

Really hope the calls stop

thankyou for your very rude comment mob!!!!!!! i have not filled in any forms and they are phoning me on a work number which i have no idea how they got hold of! i have recived over 30 calls i have been getting about 5-6 calls a day for the last couple of weeks! i just want it to stop as nobody ever speaks to me when i pick up the phone! i want to speak to somebody to tell them to stop! please do not be so rude in future mob!!!

ya dont no ow to sort these problems out if ya really had a problem wiv these calls you would do what i did n make a complaint its not hard to use ur voice and tell them all dont be scared in tellin them that you dont want life insurance, (oh and its all your faults if your names are on the databases you shouldnt off ticked boxes or let people ring you back so you all got yourself to blame, if you want all this to stop may i surgest you dont bother filiin out forms and get a fcukin life ya bunch of sad do's

For the past few weeks, been having half a dozen calls a day on my mobile from this number.
Emailed Orange with no reply.
Found out, through this message board, that Amanico were responsible.
I contacted Amanico direct on their number (01606 591 565), politely explained the problem and then asked for my mobile number to be removed from their call list.
Within a day, the phone calls have stopped.
Can't fault service like that.

Got my first and up to tenth call from this number today, managed to answer it twice, no one there. Googled the number and Hey Presto here I am.

No idea who it is or what they want - does anyone know what company this is?

I tried to call the number back but just got a message saying 'The subscriber is temporarily unavailable

THIS NUMBER WILL NOT STOP CALLING, I KEEP MISSING IT AS THEY CALL WHILST IM AT WORK, EVERYTIME I CALL BACK ITS SAYING PERSON CANNOT BE REACHED AT THIS TIME, IF ANYONE KNOWS WHO THIS IS OR BEST WAY TO CONTACT THEM PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I have been gettin phone calls form this number for a few months now, i googled it ans expected nothing and i came across this site, and i amazed!
im glad im not alone...
I have NEvER in my life filled in a survey, wether it be online, through the post or over the phone,
When i answer the phone there is no 1 there or all i can here is talking in the background
so if i havent filled out a servey how the hell have they got my details?

I reported this to Orange and told them to check out this site so that they could see how many complaints there were - they say they cannot do anything about it.  Not very good for their reputation is it?

Call recieved today - When I picked up and said hello, the guy on the other end said hello. This wsa repeated 3 or 4 times beore I hung up. Not funny. Am also x directory.

Have had umpteen phone calls from this company on my landline from a landline number ...i used to let the call just ring as i had caller display...the other number starts 01952 i think !!!
when this first started to happen i did answer...the company in question is i believe Financial Connections (could be insurance)....Now using a mobile number to call 07975825284....
