This number calls me 6 times a day! And leaves no message! It drives me mad having to escape the calls on my mobile!  Virgin stop this!

Just had a call from this number.  Nothing their end while I said hello a couple of times then someone came on, kept saying hello, confirmed my name that they had and then they put the phone down (possibly there is a problem with my phone (a mobile)).  I am a Virgin Media customer so given the above comments expect it is them (pretty poor broadband quality recently) so I'm not going to bother calling them back, just wait for the next one.

I had a missed call from them today at 13.25 on my mobile, no message left.

I have just recieved 2 calls from this number in the space of a minute but did not answer ot and no msg was left. I am currently a virgin customer but I have recently cancelled some of my services with them due to extremely poor customer service so I am guessing they were calling me to try make me stay. I was conned into taking up there service last time so wont be doing it again and cannot wait until I am out of contract with them for my tv so I can cut all ties with them!

Number rang me. It is Virgin and it was only about the changes of services. Wanted to confirm the date etc. Definitely not a call centre and definitely English bloke on the phone.

I had a call from this number last night, exept it was a call on my boyfriends phone, asking for me.  Saying they were calling from virgin media, wanting to discuss the changes to my account.  Bizzare!  When I spoke with him, he said he wanted to discuss the changes to my account, and could I tell him my password.  Which obviously I didn't do, after which I hung up.  All very peculiar...  Who are these people?

Got a call to my mobile from this number today. No message left.

It's Virgin Media. Stop complaining and just [***]' pick it up when they try ringing you and stop being paranoid fools.

My phone number is supposedly not listed anywhere in the world as a 'for sale to appear on a cold calling list' and yet I get numerous cold calls from various companies.  I googled this number after receiving a call from them this evening, and found this site - imagine my surprise to find it is my current telephone provider who can't be bothered to talk to me!  Get some real people to work there, Virgin Media.  You'll be out of business and wishing you had when you irritate us all to the point where we leave you and go back to BT for our services.  Then you'll HAVE to find people who are not mutes to talk so that they can try to persuade us to come back to you for yet some more silent treatment.  After a day at work I don't need your thin air butting into my evening and irritating me.

Unlike you people, I decided to pick it up when they rang. It was Virgin Media. They were ringing to 'review' my account - wanting to know if I'm happy with the service and offered some money saving options to my exsisting package. I told them that I'm happy and they didn't once try and nag me into trying to upgrade.

This number rings me around 1445 everyday, just after I finish work. Some American lady... keeps askin to speak to the person who pays the Virgin Media bills.

One of the many calls I recieved from this number, it's not virgin media, its some kinda scam. If they dont leave a message, if you get a call from virgin media again ask them to send you a letter instead of calling. I bet they won't since they prob wanna a direct response from you to take your details into their scam. Say no to scammers.

this is a scam - don't give any info out.......  had a nn english bloke tell me his name was ernest (yeah right).  Said he was from virgin media and that my bill was goint to go up....  when i asked him where he was calling from he said the philippines!!!  Asked him for my account number which he correctly gave me.  Very worringly I ended the call and rang virgin media who told me that they only have UK basd call centre and it was a scam to obtain financial info - BE VERY VERY CAREFUL GUYS!!!!

I had a missed call from that number yesterday
I rang it and had a recorded message that told me they were Virgin Media and would call back in the next few days.
Sounds rather fishy to me, if they wanted to talk to me then there would be a person on the line when I rang back, lots of people will ring this number and expect to talk to someone.

I wouldn't give details to anyone just phoning me up, emailing me out of the blue or anything like that, virgin have my details already and I havent changed anything with my bank so there would be no need to contact me about that.
With this in mind it does smell very badly so I'll add to your warning and advice people NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR DETAILS unless you are certain who you are dealing with,

If there is a need to verify details, say you changed bank, then get their number yourself and you phone them.

I know a lot of people know this but some don't and it's those that I advise to be careful.

THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM.
I had another call this time the American lady mentioned by others was on the line, I told her not to phone back and hung up.

I phoned Virgin Media and they are aware of this scam and the number being used but are having real difficulty stopping this as it is based abroad.

Just do what I did and tell them you don't want them phoning you and hang up.

Well just had my umpteenth call from VM this week, everytime I answer just nothing on the line as per usual, but today as I swore down the phone I actually was in shock because there was a person on the other end, I pointed out to him that maybe he should look at this site to see what people are saying and that if I had his managers mobile phone number and kept ringing it for months on end and ignoring them when answered they would probably make it a police matter.

Are you happy with your service I was asked, well I was till you lot kept ringing me up he then promised to remove my number from the system this will remain to be seen, I also said the if I wanted to change my service I would call you as I know all about them due to the amount of literature you keep bombarding me with which goes straight into the recycling bin, mainly without even opening it, I pay my bill, I cause no trouble, I just want to be left alone in peace is that to much to ask, oh silly me I forgot this is England anbd no one will listen !!!

I have called Virgin Media who still insist it is NOT one of their numbers.

They suggested I call 0870 444 3969 to register for their free "Block Silent Calls" service, which I have done. We shall see . . . .

5th call  didn't answer this time    .

I'm a Virgin Mobile customer, too. I spoke to my Mum after getting a phonecall from this number after school and she said that it may be caused by somebody setting up a phone line, in which they get money when people answer the phone. THIS MAY BE A SCAM.

KEEP YOUR BLUETOOTH OFF WHEN YOU'RE NOT USING IT as other people can access your phone, take valuable information and cause problems aswell as costing you for the call without realising!!!

I've had a call from this number daily for the past month or so, I'm never available to answer it and tell them to stop calling me. I am a Virgin broadband customer so I imagine it's in relation to that.
