Polite lady called and said that as a special customer I will get a very special offer from Virgin, but she must make sure it is me on the phone, then the call was ended (interrupted). Maybe you should watch out because they don't call for nothing, especially if it is not Virgin.

I am getting calls from this number in clusters or groups of four or five times in one day. Then I get nothing for several days. As all my calls are monitored, I do not pick up and answer if i do not wish to speak, or do not know the caller. I just get horrid bleeping and "Please replace the handset and try again" messages.

Called me 2 times. Answered. Name: Rachel From: Virgin Media. She knew which broadband package I had so could not be a hoax. She wanted me to upgrade my package. Declined. Ok, bye.

get called on average 4 times a day by this number; its a real pain all i get is silence or someone asking for the wife. calls on landline and on my mobile.

Just got called by this number, she just asked for my mum. We are also Virgin Media customers.

Claimed to be from Virgin.
Asked me for my password.
I advised I wouldn't share.
Asked for a couple of digits of it.
I gave some letters that came to mind.
Immeadiately told me that this was wrong, it was the "original" password required. (Like whatever!)
Asked if she could ask me some security questions.
I advised that I was not confident that this was not a phishing call.
She advised I call Virgin Media on the number on the bill and she would record that she had called, but the call was declined on data protection grounds.

they ring my mobile every day which isnt virgin mobile and proceed to ask for me by my full name. it is usually a man posssibly indian. he knows i have broadband and phone from virgin media. i end the conversation at this point.

im also a victim of this annoying dead number calling 6-7 time a day for last couple of weeks on my mobile phone.
im a customer of virginmedia (for now) & ive rang & complained about the call & was told theres nothing they can do i'd have to write to head office about it.
i tol him fk that its your number calling,you deal with it & put the p[hone down.

Annoying repeated calls.  On the rare occasions when I do answer it I get dead air.  Googling to this site very helpful however - at least I know I don't want/need ever to talk to them.

Same thing here. I answer, it's silent for about a second then the call cuts off. Twts.

is constantly phoning me, i've never answered, however it cannot genuinley be virgin as i am only 15

Called by this number 9pm this evening to my (T-Mobile) mobile. Didn't answer.
If this is spam how have they got contact details for all of Virgin's customers?

I've been getting loads of these calls for the last 2 days...called VIrgin Media and threatened to report them if they didn't stop it, so they said they'd look into it. I cancelled my account with them 2 days ago...related?

To add insult to injury they made me listen to Hanson's m'bop while I was on hold, so I made a complaint about that too.

I got the call to claiming to be from Virgin Media. the guy wanted to go through all the options and the call would last 15 mins.   and wanted my password.

i am a current virgin media user on my home phone and gettin g really sick of these calls all the time to get no reply when answered keep this up i'm going back to bt lol

They claimed to be Virgin Media and claimed they were going to give me a "reward" for being with them so long. All seemed very fishy, so when they asked me to confirm my package details I was a little suspicious.

I said "if you really are virgin media, then you can tell me what my package details are"...they hung up!

Yep, it calls me sometimes as well. I've just blocked it on my mobile. I don't know why they bother?

Got called but no one says anything and after 5 seconds hangs up.
