    Following my post yesterday saying I had emailed 'help at VM' and their reply saying they would remove me from their 'dialler' I am now wondering if it was definitely a legit Virgin Media address I emailed.  I know we cannot expect the calls to stop immediately, but oddly, we have had more than ever today! There was a name and contact number on the email so although I will not ring that, I may contact the official VM number and check the person exists.

    I have had 2 calls from this number on my mobile today with no messages left.  We are VM customers but I don't think VM have this number.  Unfortunately, when I call this number back it says, no such number.  Very strange.

    I am a Virgin customer, and when they called me, they said they wanted to offer me a reward for taking such good care of my account (a least, I think that's what they said, she had a very strong accent, and not a good grasp of the English langage). She said she needed my password, and I said I didn't give out my account information to strangers cold calling me - she knew the first and middle letters of my password though. I told them if Virgin wanted to offer me something, they could write to me, like they normally do, and I didn't do this sort of thing over the phone, and please not to call me again. Have to see if they do or not.

    They keep ringing and ringing, in the end i let it go to voice mail and then if they really need me then they would email or write to me wouldnt they! It is so annoying but i have gotten used to it. Just a reminder, please be careful when giving someone over the phone your details. Be sure that is Virgin and not a scam. Thanks x

    Well, still extremely annoying but probably a little different - keep getting these messages on my mobile but never given them the number ......... but, I left two messages on Virgin Media via the Internet saying that I was thinking about changing my SKY TV to Virgin (with the Sports Channels plus the Movie Channels) - because I also had the land line and broadband with them and wanted a complete package ..... never had a reply. Somebody in the Customer Services needs sacking!

    virgin media calling because i cancelled my subscription and they tried to offer me a terrible deal to sweeten me up.  i could get a better deal cancelling and rejoining with them

    For 3 weeks had this number call me over and over again from early morning to late at night. Now and again I answered to only recieve silence.

    Four days ago they rang again, I answered and a foreign sounding female started to ask for my details. I swore at them and told them the calls were unacceptable.

    Haven't had a call since.

    Got this number yesterday evening. I am a T-Mobile customer, which perhaps says it all.

    They just called me, and after about 10 seconds of me saying 'Hello', a girl with a weird staccato voice that sounded like Stephen Hawking's computer told me she was calling from Virgin Media.

    If it's not Virgin Media then they do at least have some details of my account from somewhere, because she mentioned that I have this particular TV package and that particular Internet package - she could have guessed I suppose.

    She then told me that as a valued customer I was being given (not "would you like") - I was being GIVEN a phone package for 6 months, after which it would be... I stopped her there and just told I wasn't interested. I suspect foul play though. I don't think this is an official VM call centre at all.

    This number has called me every weekday for the last three weeks.  I am not a Virgin customer and never have been - it's calling me on my mobile which is on an Orange contract.  Seriously cheesed off with it now!!!

    This number rings me all the time. When I did answer the call the guy said he was calling from Virgin media about a landline, I said i wasnt interested in a landline and not to phone me, we will see!

    i've been getting this number calling me on average 2-3 times a day. my wife wants me to answer it, but i'm not preparred to break my policy of not answering any dodgy numbers.
    i just let it ring out, or, sometimes i'll end the call myself.
    if it was a genuine call, then the caller would leave a message.

    Pissed Off With Virgin Medias Calls
    What have you got do do to get through to some stupid bloody morons? Ove told virgin till im blue in the face DONT CALL ME asking of i want MORE of your service because I DONT if i did id call YOU!!! Does they take any notice NO! This is starting to take the piss i end up arguing with the caller whos 1st language isnt english let me tell you, and just end up angry and wanting to leave Virgin. Im not sure this would stop these idiots though. They just stop calling for a few months then WAM "Hello this is virgin media"!!! Look Virgin [***] Media take the hint and pissoff harassing me or im going elsewhere !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well all theyve managed to do is piss me right off to the point if they dare call again trying to force me into upgrading im taking legal action because this is harassment.

    Anyone else having the same trouble call 150 from your Virgin Media Phone
    or 0845 454 1111 from any other phone.

    I have yet to have the responce from virgin media about why im called 8 times a day by 08000 153 333 but find it very dodgy that they keep calling me even after ive said id inform the police about being called day & night. Take my word for if if you get this number constantly calling you contact virgin ASAP and on 150 from your virgin media phone or 0845 454 1111 from any other phone and complain beacuse it wont end
