Had similar call today offering me 6 months free phone line and the after the free 6 months if I didn't want it I could cancel.

The caller had American accent and sounded robotic (sounded like they were disguising their normal voice!!)but this could have been a 3rd party trying to take over the line. (even though I don't have the Virgin Phone Line any longer).

Once, I answered this number and refused everything they were offering me, but they still keep bothering me. I don't answer, but they keep calling at least once a day!!!

This number has started calling me again...I am a T mobile PAYG, I heard on the news that someone in T Mobile sold customer details to other operators, so I'm assuming that this is how they've got my number...Does anyone know how to get it stopped. It's a real nuisance, and I'm getting really P'd off.  I just let it ring

I have these calls. Having been a virgin user for several years I can envisage this company losing business as a clear result of their incompetence of dealing with a simple problem. As I am aware, all calls are diverted to pakistan or india, someone at the other end of the line is about as easy to talk to as "muffin the mule" and has as much expertise as john clease's dead parrot.
Write to the complaints department, do not email them, you get an automated response and a dead parrot.
Communcating with virgin is like talking to the dead parrot, press this press that press hash, puff  fart and blow and lo and behold another recording.
Oh press star if you want to go to the main menu and jump through their pathetic loop. WTF? Virgin is to communications what a freekin indian elephant is to hang-gliding.

Called four times in under two minutes first three times no one was there, the last call a woman's voice saying hello, gave them some of there own medicine and put the phone down,hasn't phoned back.Only One word needed to describe companies/people like this. [***]!!!!
       Forgot to mention gave 30 days notice to them last night as contract is coming to an end.As others have mentioned [***] company that will try anything to keep a customer.Hope they go bust.

Most annoying, has rang twice today (whilst at work), asking for my husband (who won't have a mobile phone) have told them in no uncertain terms to never phone my mobile again - don't know how they got my mobile number,(I'm with T Mobile) but if it continues will definitely cancel my services with Virgin, if I'm abroad I will be charged for this call - damn nuisance!!

Phone Virgin Media on 08000520339 or E-Mail their complaints dept.I just e-mailed and got a response within 5 minutes. Spoke to a real person who dealt with the problem and now I`m OFF THEIR CONTACT LIST. yippeeeeeeee!!!!!

That number has called me twice today so far and couple of time the other days.They just keep on ringing me even I have never answered any call.
I have no idea , whose is that phone number ,but they never leave any voicemail message at all.
I have only one question: When it is gonna stop ringing?

getting calls from this no all the time no one there when you answer so now i cut them off god damned annoying though.

fake phone calls should be band if thy dont talk thy are newsence calls thy a law against that but do thy get into trubbel no lol every day 4 a week now the same number no one on the uther end

I keep geting calls from this number, When i answer the line is dead. Earlier post mentioned reporting as  a complaint

Filled it out with all duff info and sent it in as many times as I could. taste of own medicine etc.

I have been getting calls from this number on my mobile for the past fortnight. Just one a day. I filled in the complaints form as I am a Virgin Customer for Broadband and TV, but NOT MOBILE. After sending the form off Virgin Media rang me on my HOUSE number and confirmed that they would get my mobile number removed from the calling list. Don't know how they got it in the first place. They told me to wait 7 days for the calls to start decreasing. I jumped for joy the day I did not receive a call. Only to be disappointed from thereon as I have again started to receive 1 phone call every day. I just don't answer it now and have completed their email survey telling them exactly what I think.
