    This number has called me on and off for the past year or so.  I generally dont answer numbers I dont know especially when they dont leave a message.

    But, tonight I got a message!  It involved about 40 seconds of silence followed by some english chump slavering to his mate about google and searching for something like "71104" then followed by really crap classical music for a further 2 minutes.  

    I am with Virgin media and have a Virgin credit card so they will have my number and judging by how [***] they have been in the past have probably lost all of our numbers or had some sneaky punk sell them to the black market for sh1ts and giggles.  I'll just continue to ignore.  No big deal.

    Just got a missed call from this number, have recently become a Virgin Media customer so that explains it. Has anyone worked out a way to stop these calls?

    Ive been getting this call on my mobile for days and it always gets dropped. Today, a woman asked for me by name and I said "yes, that's me" and she said "thank you" and hung up. I'm really worried now what's this all about?!

    Weird, I started getting this number calling my VM landline, and now it's calling my frickin' O2 mobile..arrrgghhhh!!!

    They have just tried phoning me at a really bad time whilst I am at work!!!!  They have done this before to me in the pass on this number!!!  I am actually a virgin media customer, and have also been a sky customer in the pass and didn't get these harassing phone calls!!  Goodbye virgin...

    To all having silent calls from this number 08000 135333 you need to report the problem to OFCOM they will do something about it but only if they receive a certain number of complaints until then Virgin Media will keep doing it as long as they can get away with it

    Its Virgin Media,we have changed from theim to Sky plus recently and they are ringing us on avaerage about 10 times a day.They will not take no for an answer so I have resorted to picking up the phone and shouting down it.Nuisance.

    I too get these nuisance calls and am also a VM customer...I've reported the number to Ofcom.  Hopefully if enough of us do this it will stop the calls...maybe...hopefully

    Had this number call 3 times so far, have just ignored it. im with virgin broadband and with sky for t.v. so if it is virgin they probably want me to get tv from them, so will continue to ignore it.

    got called by this number. It was dead air for maybe 5 seconds then a lady talked. I just moved house and transfered my virgin media accounts and she asked me whether I am satisfied with their service and said will send me a survey by Email.

    getting really fed up with this number keep calling 2 or 3 times a day
    they never say anything either when we answer which is annoying. get
    a life and a better job instead of bothering people.

    Answer the phone and tell them you are reporting them to OFCOM. The numbers are generate by a automatic call dialler and you only get a human if there is one available. They should leave a message saying who they are by law and shouldn't call you again for 72 hours. The fine is £50,000 if they don't stop.

    I keep getting usually 3 to 4 silent calls everyday from this number!!! I have reported them to ofcom, still keep getting calls though!! This isn't just a few marketing calls that can be ignored, this is pure and simple harassment!!

    Has been ringing for over 2 weeks about once a day.  Can't find out from 02 how  to block the number which i should be able to do.   The normal policy with me is that they will get tired and stop!  But as other people are having problems I may have to resort to a letter.   This normally works.
