- craftykelif you click on this link then fill your number and detaisl in then if someone calls you after 28 days you can take them to court . i got the number from citizen advice as the same number as above calls me on an average 10 times a day no one at the other end..
http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/ - craftykel replies to Mike| 1 replyiif you regester with the telephone preference company then after 28 days if they call you then you just say that you are on the tps list and if they continue to call you then you will take legal action ...
http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/ - VM replies to craftykelThis is a REAL Virgin Media customer service number. They wont ask for any of your full details apart from the 1st and last letter of your password etc so you don't have to give out any information. If you ask the person politely to stop calling you they will put a flag on the number. It's normally a courtesy call to see if you are happy with your package. If you are not a customer just tell them to remove the telephone number.
- Robi've had them call 11 times in 2 weeks!! so now before they go into their sales pitch, i get in first and try to sell them ANYTHING i think of from tropical fish to sking hloidays...and DONT let them turn the convo back to what they originaly wanted to say. i always finish with "well if you dont want to buy my 'whatever' then why did you phone? stop wasting my time or better still, give me your personal phone number and i'll call you back every 5 mins just incase you change your mind" always goes down well. try it for yourself, its most satisfying :-)

- Fedup replies to DaveI've been bombarded by this number all morning. About 12 calls in 10 mins including one garbled message on the answer phone. I decided to answer to ask them to stop calling, same voice as the answerphone, said she was virginmedia but was definitely american. I told her I'd not called them or asked them to ring me and as I'm only payg I don't have a package with them, she then asked if I were a particular person, I said no and she hung up. The phone is quiet now, maybe she was genuinely ringing the wrong number lol
- lisat1103the number has rung me twice in the last week, never rung me before I cancelled my Virgin Media contract, then suddenly rings me twice in a week.
- TomJust recieved a call from this number (2nd of the day), turns out its a recorded message from Virgin Media telling me that the fault with my area's broadband (which I was aware of) was now fixed.
- Call type: Event reminder
- Carlos21 pages of pure sadness. Come on people its not the end of the world when someone calls you, they arent going to steal your soul or anything !
Answer your damn phone if you want them to stop calling you, tell them to stop.. simple really isnt it?
As for dead air, silence and all the other wonderfull things you call it; do you think a person sits there dialing numbers all day? of course not they use an autodialer, if the sofware messes up or your mobile doesnt connect properly then the auto dialer doesnt know you have picked up!
And to site admin, under Call Type you really should have an option for customer services because in this instance none of the options aloud suffice !- Caller: Virgin Media Customer Services
- Chris, EastleighI did not answer a calI from this number as I did not recognise it and thought it might be another silent caller. About an hour later I received another call from this number and this time a voicemail message was left on my phone. The message quite clearly stated that it was Virgin Media calling me and it was to report that the fault I had been experiencing in my area over the past few days has now been sorted. This was a genuine call from Virgin Media as I had reported problems with my internet and catch up tv service to the company a few days ago. So on THIS occasion, the call was genuine, but I still will not answer any calls for this number after reading other posts on this page!
- Caller: Virgin Media
- DomI received a genuine service call from Virgin Media from this number. It was a recorded message confirming that a network fault had been fixed. I ignored the first call and answered the second time. It requests confirmation that the fix has been effective by pressing one. Presumably this takes you off the call-back list.
