Have been getting calles from Stellar UK for a few months now on our business line. Thnaks to this site I've got the Stellar UK number and called them asking to speak to their sales department. Spoke to Declan in sales on 01294 225 300 (thought he was getting a sales enquiry no doubt) and asked him what they wanted. He was then as confused as I was. He has said he will take our details off the system. Perhaps if you all give Declan a call ???
Will wait and see.

Just had a missed call from this number and googled it to see if I could find out who it was. Found this site and its clear they are nuisance called. I have found their email address which is solutions@stellarbpo.co.uk.

I am sending them this email, feel free to copy and paste to send to them yourself. I'd advise keeping a copy of your phone records and a copy of the email too to send to OFCOM if they do ignore it.

I have just had a missed call from 08000191773 and googled the number to find out who was calling me.

I have realised your a company called Stella UK and used to be called Excell Contracts or something like this. I have seen a lot of bad information about your firm regarding constant pestering calls and silence at the end of the line when someone answers the call (which I believe Barclaycard have been fined for recently) amongst other things.

I work in finances and deal with all my own banking/mortgage and insurance needs and do not require someone less qualified than myself calling me up trying to flog me something over the phone.

I would like you to remove me from your call lists immediately. If I receive so much as one other call from this number, regardless of who you are calling on behalf of, I will forward a copy of my phone records and this email to OFCOM. With the information they can easily find, as I did, on the internet, Im sure it wouldnt take too long for them to find enough information to fine you.

hiya me n danni used to work in stella and we hate doing the job as much as you hate getting the calls but just so you know that me and danni are 18 and to be fair that in irvine no one will employ us because they dont trust us so the last place we could try was stella and belive us we did not want to end up they as we said it was the last place because we do have bills to pay for aswell. We will say sorry for any silent calls you have had because its not the callers fault its the computers there old and alway slow so by the time your name comes up you have hung up lol we are really sorry and as we said we would never want to work in a call center and we would never work in one that was a fake and stellar is not fake it is your bank or heater provider that is passing on your details to us,to sell their products. and if you say you dont want a call back,we wont give you one but if you say yes you can call abck at another time,we will.because we get into trouble if we dont.

Every day 2 ot 3 times. On TPS why do these people get out of life !

I have had 7 calls on my home number at various times over the last 3 days, earliest 12.30, latest 20.35. Answered twice but get silence + then they hang up. I am on TPS + always tick the relevant box for no contact from companies. I work nights on a 7 day on, 7 day off basis but leave house phone on as I am insulin dependent diabetic + if I go hypo my colleagues need to break through the stupor!
Have also contacted TPS.

3 times in 2 days. Haven't answered as have been at work, but still not best pleased. I don't take kindly to companies calling me cold.

Just got a couple of missed class from them. Frustrating.

I'm sick to [***] death of these [***] ringing me - there must be some law against this, if I ever get my hands on the [***] to designed this . . . .

Called the [***] on 01294 225 300 and they got me removed. Maybe I'll send the [***] some white powder in the post - then maybe the [***] will listen and stop this annoying habit of pissing people off.

I called 01294 225 300, and spoke to a very polite lady who apologised and said my detials will be removed form the database.

Hung up when my answerphone kicked in.  1471 revealed the number. I am on TPS but this doesn't seem to make any difference.

Just phoned our house asking for a Mr Donaldson - they gave me his full name when I asked (nice Data Protection there, guys), and I said they had a wrong number as we've never had anyone here with that name. Will wait to see if they call us back on any other pretext now they know I'm home in the afternoons...

I have received countless calls from this number!!!  I even added it to my reject list on my mobile and they still somehow keep coming through!  Just rung up Stellar (01294 225300) and spoke to a lovely lady who said my number will be removed - they must get hundreds of these calls as she didn't ask any questions.  I'll wait and see what happens!

Have received a multitude of calls from this number, most being the silent type that cut off after 5 seconds. Have never called them back, apart from once when a robotic voice tried telling me that I had an urgent problem with my credit card (which was total bollocks).

I've now phoned Stellar on 01294 225300, spoke to a Scottish lady who happily agreed to remove my number from their database. I asked what the calls are about, and she said she wouldn't be able to tell me exactly as it could be any number of firms. She said it's loads of different Insurance companies, Banks, that sort of thing, responsible for the 0800 number. Here's their details if you want to irritate them back...

Got a call late on last night she says from stellar uk international on behalf of their client Debenhams regarding my credit card.  i am so fed up with these calls that I pretended that I wasn't in...they said they'd call back at a later date. must register with tps.  I then phoned back the number and there was a voice message at the other end saying that it was stellar uk calling working on behalf of a client regarding products and services.

I get about 4 calls a day from these buggers - we are on TPS and it drives me nuts as no-one else calls just them!!

All these calls are made by Stellar UK on behalf of clients or sales purposes.
No point in ringing freephone number, as you will just get a recorded message, referring you to an 0845 number. I've tracked the company down to their switchboard on 01294 225300. Their quality assurance/complaints person is Nicola Payne.
Perhaps if they get enough calls, they may do something about their sales methods, such as hanging up on an 89 year old when they obviously realised she was not a good prospect, leaving her worried all week about buglars or con-men.
