Had 4 calls from this number today. The message tells me it is Stellar UK, calling me with a promotion or offer on behalf of a client. Web address - http://www.stellarbpo.co.uk/
Seems they are the masters of out-sourced call centres.

The phone rung a couple of times and then hung up before I even had chance to answer. This happened 3 times in one evening.

This number has called my landline endless times. My finace has told them to stop calling. They called about half an hour ago and I told them again to stop calling. We shall see.

Had about 3 missed calls,just rung the number on my landline. says they are called stellar uk and are calling on behalf of a client who is promoting an offer or service. What services and products they offer I can ony guess its some insurance or something of that kind. I would not at all be interested in it anyway! If we dont answer why do they continue to call!!! NUISANCE CALLS!!!

got 12 calls from this number since the 1st of February. when you call the number back you get a message where they identify themselves as Stellar UK and that they are calling on behalf of a customer who wants to provide me with a service. They give you a number to get you off the list (either 08451207252 or 08451307252 not sure as the message quality is rather poor) but neither are valid numbers (calling it give you the "Sorry this number has not been recognised" message). This is a real nuisance. I am also on TPS but from my experience, every time I have complained to them about companies that do not respect the TPS thing, I get told that they cannot do anything about it. I'll try again with this one but I am not holding my breath.

Complained to Ofcom as I've been on the TPS lists for years.  One thing I would advise people is to NEVER EVER DISCUSS PRIVATE FINANCIAL DETAILS WITH COMPLETE STRANGERS OVER THE PHONE.  Tell them this and hang up.

silent calls.  several a day. keep answering them anyway in the hope that eventually there'll be someone i can yell at on the other end....

0800 019 1773 is a 3rd party company working on behalf of Lloyds TSB.

Phone 020 7626 1500 and ask to speak to the Chief Executive's Office.  You'll get to leave a message and you can then ask "why" they are contacting you, and to remove you from their calling lists.  DON'T just ignore this bit.  They thought it was good to pester you, so WE ALL need to show them, what it's like to be pestered!!!

Also phone 0207 981 3040 (Ofcom - Contacts Team direct number) and register this with them.  They actively will build a case against whoever is contacting you and they can take action action against them.  BUT they need people to contact them so they can determine how bad it really is.

Was called and guy who called me said his name is garry , telling me he is calling from mbna bank offering me 0% on transfer balances for a year , I think this would be more then a scam , I was not sure about it and tryed to end call asap.

plus call was at 20:40 as I know all the banks should not be calling at this time

I am also receiving calls from this number. As of Feb 08 it belongs to  a company called Stellar UK. I have used the web link in this blog to locate their UK telephone number. (Thanks to Rick) Tel: 01294 225 300. I have told them that they are calling me illegally and they are to remove my number. They said they will do it right away but we shall see...
I have recently issued my number in Admag which is where i think they have got my number from - my own fault i suppose!! I also rang Vodaphone to see if they could help but they will not do call baring.

We have a constant flow of calls from this most famous number and have done for a few years now.
Once in the afternoon and again in the evening during dinner. Weekends we have a lovely wake up call and especially sundays...This has to stop someone should take responsibility for this company or companies and stop the harassment. If this was the general public calling each other every day they would be locked up by now.
Someone take action please!!!!

Had silent call from number yesterday and missed called today.

This is a call centre call Excell based in Irvine, Scotland who are employed by a number of blue chip companies to carry out customer service duties. I too have received calls from this number as MBNA card services(Virgin)employ them to do so. As I had recently aquired one of these cards my details hsve been passed onto this call centre who held my personal details/passwords etc...on file. When they called, they put the hat of MBNA on and did not refer to being called Excell. However, when challanged the caller did explain that they are employed by MBNA and suggested that I verify the call with MBNA to confirm athenticity of call, which I did and checked out.

Alan called, claiming to be from EoN, the power people, but admitted he was from Excel Contacts.  He tried to sell me cover for my central heating.  He failed.

Just had these on now, I've won a gift !

This number must call round 4-5 times a day. Don't know who it is. They keep calling up until 2030-2100hrs. A real pain when you have just got the little one to bed.

They've phoned me twice today, once at lunch time and once just now at 9pm!!!!  No-one on the other end of the line each time.  Hope this isn't going to be the start of more calls!  I'm also listed with TPS
