Just got another call from this number, coming through as a fax?!  Luckily i had no paper in machine so it was rejected....

Please stop this number calling!

Receiving calls from 08000285085 saying that I have a broadband fault and that it can be fixed by them
also receiving calls from 1002036300278, 01213143214, 001984128217, 013185550165

Received a call today 15:50 02/04/2014 from 08000285085 no message left!?

08000285085 missed call at 12:28 on 10/03/14 no message left!

mark it as a nuisance call and don't pick up

Received a call to our business today stating that there was an outstanding bill due and I needed to pay it. I then ''googled'' the number and found all of these comments, I read some of them back to her & she proceeded to say there was an outstanding balance and if I didn't pay for it my line would get cut off. Complete scam do not give your details to these people!!

Once again this number called our business today stating if I do not pay that our line is going to get cut off. Complete scam do not listen to a word they say

Got call saying from bt about the deactivation of my account. It's not and won't be deactivated. Woman tried to get my details and I refused, she volunteered my year of birth to which I replied anyone can get that from the internet. She kept pushing me to validate my account with her, she gave me a number to ring up to confirm she was bt and when I said that's not a BT number she hung up

Got 4 calls in 20 minutes. Answered one and they hung up.
No voicemail message left.
Did phone BT earlier today on another matter.  Is it someone at the call centre up to mischief?

Claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with the account. We'd already checked and there wasn't.

Loads of calls from this number...why are they not being stopped. We are charged enough. Also loads from an 0203 number.

Just had a call from this number but didn't answer as I didn't know it. Then they phoned on my mobile and left a message. I won't be listening to the message as I would have to pay for it. They have called before, weeks ago, and I didn't answer. I only answer calls from people I know (whose name comes up on the screen). Not unsolicited calls. I thought it might have been an insurance company as I renewed my car insurance 2 days ago, and lots of them phone. But again they don't get an answer. It's very annoying as these places call at all sorts of times. I registered for the service that is supposed to stop nuisance calls, but I still get lots of them.

Just had a call from this number on the work phone!!! The dude said he was from BT & noticed our broadband is up for renewal, he wanted speak to my manager or business owner, told him they were both busy & i could take a message & either would ring him back, he told me he carnt get incoming calls, bit fishy if you ask me, a BT caller that carnt have incoming calls. What is that all about.

They asked for details of my BT account when I asked them some made up details they got flustered amateurs for sure and not even competent amateurs at that!

saying they are from BT collections department - this has been going on for months ( the latest chap says he is called Lowell Yu )
have had so many promises to remove my number and it obviously hasn't been removed - driving me insane.

Just got a call on mobile from this number. Ignored it and land line rang within seconds. Left it to go through to our messaging bureau ....it was BT and from a guy I have dealt with recently. He left a different number for me to call back on.

number is a genuine bt one . had an indian gentleman called "Dave" ring every day claiming to be from bt , saying i needed to reregister my email details .Told him where to go , but he still kept ringing so i gave up and went to see bt .The number is used by bt to contact customers in person to try and get you to upgrade to a different package . in my case i just have an email account  with bt but they want me to upgrade to a premium one or take out a broadband package . Annoying but not  dodgy

This is actually BT. Didn't answer (I never do) but they left a message about the engineer appointment I've got booked. Thing is, my answerphone said the number that called was 01793 805609

They rang me saying they were BT.  They told me they were in the Philippines.  They asked for the wrong account holder, so they are probably using out of date data.  When I started asking them questions to prove their identity the phone went quiet then dead.
