had a call from this number yesterday afternoon and last evening, but didn't pick up.....

Had a call just before 8 this evening, didn't get to phone in  time to answer  Thought,  Lotto has just been drawn then laughed and carried on with what I had been doing!  Have been in contact with BT over adverts,.was phoned from India,.  I don't trust them not to scam it has happened before!

They call up BT and don't say anything then call people around the UK claiming to be BT, Be careful of anyone calls from this number. if in doubt always call your service provider and ask if we have called you as we always have an online record of us calling you and if you have called us.

Prank calls made from this number, don't fall into it

Called today recorded message I rung the number recorded message saying thank for calling B.T. I put the phone down without answering,having read a; lot of the comments I am glad I didn't pain in the backside.

Claiming to be BT regarding money I owe.... scam!
I have never had ANY account with BT...ever.
Couldn't tell me which name or which account or which address...just that I owe money!
She hung up when I asked her to send me this mystery outstanding bill via post.

Phoned several late afternoons running, I didn't pick the phone up before it rang off.  Phoned them back on the last time they called and got a recorded message saying sorry we missed you we will phone you back!.

We have had several calls from 08000285085 and would like to know who is ringing us.  Can you  help?

But reading....

Had a couple of calls on my work phone from this number, says their from BT, my work phone is on Vodafone!  But they wouldn't being calling me as all contracts are dealt with by my head office

Indian sounding lady, claiming to be from BT, wanting to speak to MR WENDY!!
If you are trying to scam people, employ people who Wendy is unlikely to be a Mr!

Silent call reported to OFCOM

Having cancelled my BT account at the end of MAY this  year and moved to another supplier and had to threaten to take BT to the Civil Court to get my advance payment back, thankfully i have now got that back, why would BT want to ring me? Probably think good job i had left them.Loads of calls from this number over the last few days and i ignore them.

i have blocked this number as the voicemail says i need to pay my Business BT account I dont have one !

I reported an email problem on 20 March 2020. They called me back today - 1 May 2020.

Very dodgy. Do not answer, they leave no message. Blocked and reported.
