We've been unable to locate the phone number you have entered."  

Seems clear enough.

I've just checked on Twitter and @britishgashelp confirm that is it a legit British Gas number.

100% British Gas used to Confirm Appointments close to appointment date to see if they are any changes.. usually for Smart Appoinemtns

am sick of getting calls from this number, am profoundly deaf and don't answer calls unless I see name on screen.

Unsolicited call. I see that it's British Gas - we have our account with another provider and I've no idea why they are calling.

British gas. Have been plagued by calls for weeks.

Had 2 calls from this number today! Both times they left a voice mail which is blank and no sound for the whole 3 seconds.

Just got a call at 9am on a Saturday. Asked for unknown name and hung up. [***]

this number keeps calling me every single day and more than once a day on some occasions.  It is becoming an absolute nuisance and I want it to stop

Is that really you British Gas?? You must be from asian call centre or asian. You know who you are annoying people with marketing calls.

Have you considered that the British gas "Did we call you" may require for you to enter the number they rang you ON not the number they ring FROM.

Simply enter the telephone number "that called you" in the search box below to see if the call was from British Gas.

This unknown party called me around 4.40pm. This was the fifth unsolicited call I've received this afternoon and to describe these people as a Royal Pain In The [***] would be a significant understatement.

This number is a British Gas Number. Rang to arrange for meters to be changed. Government legislation for EVERYONE and has to be done within the next 2 years.

Remember the old motto    "When all else fails  - read the instructions".    What the British Gas site says is "Simply enter the telephone number that called you in the search box below to see if the call was from British Gas."

Still says it is NOT a British Gas number.
