Can u help me the same thing happened to me.  My statement shows the date of 17/10/11, the amount taken £89.95.  I havent contacted the Halifax yet, I am researching SegPayEU.com, EMUSIC.COM and Poundsaver.  Not aware of any of these companies but I did purchase the collection of COUNTRY & WESTERN CDs for the TV.  I am register with bid TV, pitch TV etc, I am one of those who like a bargain, it looks like the bargain caught up on me.  If any of u out there feel like me lets take them to WATCHDOG.  They have been doing this for 4 years and continuing, it needs to stop, Go to all local newspaper and tell the General Public not to purchase anything on Television Shopping Channels.  Maybe those companies will start to realize how we the General Public feel without any money.  Also lets WHICH deal with Television Shopping Channels to help close them down if they do not take more responsiblity.

the message that stevie entered is full oh grammatical errors,it would appear to be from a child,or an imbecile,who imagines that if you do not want a service,you have to tell them so.there was a law,passed some time ago,banning inertia selling,which,in my opinion,this is,cancel this contract,if one exists,and demand your money back,and,if it is not forthcoming,go to the law.

Me again and it's good news. I have been refunded the £89.95 and the £39.95 that was taken out of my account last weekend I am pleased that the refund was done so quickly, cancel any contracts you may have with these companies quickly and ask for refunds asap.
Post your results and let others know to try and avoid the "ADD ONs" that these TV sales channels try
to push on you, nothing is free it would seem!!!

Thats great,the same has happend to me for the same amount,i have rang Zestify and the 08001077333 number,said they will refund money,hope i am as lucky as you! i am changing bank details an i wont be ordering from tv again!

My Dad has had money taken out of his account by these [***],he also bought from the shopping channel. Lets hope this all gets resolved.

this company took £1.60 and £99.95 out of my grandads bank account really not fair put the phone down on him :(:(:(:((((

Hi its me again I wrote on here on 11/10/2011 I rang the number above here and was advised my money would be refunded within 14 days it is day 15 today and no money has gone back into my account.  I tried calling them but the office is closed as opening times are 8-8 I will try again tomorrow watch this space
If I have no refund I have no choice but to fill in my redemtion form from the bank.

hi i have just been ripped off at POUNDSAVER IN DONCASTER my elderly father bought in good faith an electric oil heater , it was faulty so a week later we took it back my father had lost the receipt the man in the shop (ALAN) he said his name was, REFUSED money back we did say we would take another one but they didnt have any and he offered no other options, and told us without a receipt he would do nothing , I am furious, I was with my father when he purchased this heater WARNING to you all in Doncaster do NOT shop in this shop they are rogue traders and we are reporting them to trading standards and will take the matter to court on prinicple, disgusting.

Hi we have just seen that two payments went out last month, one for £1.60 and one for £99.95 both payments were for poundsaver. we made a phone purchase over a year ago but never check our statements (we will now though) The bank have said to go in and they will cancel "THE MEMBERSHIP" and we can make a claim for any money taken. If this happens to you go straight to your bank

I too have been ripped off by these gangsters to the tune of £89.95 but thanks to one of your earlier commentators I got a telephone number and made contact with them and have been promised a refund in full. TIME WILL TELL but people should be warned to be extremely careful and to regularly check their credit card ( especially Mastercard ) statements. I have just cancelled my  Ulster Bank World Mastercard.

I was notified by my bank that £99.95 had been taken by poundsaver.com they had tried to take 99.95 and 1.60 three days before and failed, todays payment went through. I have not used my card for years and not bought from a shopping channel. This is fraud, no other word for it. the company needs closing down, I am thankfull that Barclaycard recognised that this was not in a normal transaction and their fraud department phoned me.

Just noticed today that £99.99 has been taken from my account from a company called pound Saver with the tele no 0870 160 2513. Tried to call them but the number is unobtainable! called my bank and their systems are down!! We have not bought anything from a shopping channel so no idea how they got my details!! Hope I get the money back.....

have as many others made a purchase through a tv sale Thane Direct.
Never agreed to this and had no conversation regarding this when making my purchase.
My bank are dealing with it so thats good. Will see how it goes.
This seems to have been going on for a number of years so why has nothing been done, reading peoples post many have told the police and trading standards and watch dog but I have never heard anything about it.  seems as though no one in any postion of authority is doing anything about this.
First and last time I buy anything via the TV !!!i

I to have had £99.99 taken from my account by Pound Saver Membership Club. They said because I did'nt untick a box when I brought a steam cleaner from Pitch TV I had joined their club ( which I have never recieved any information about ). I rung them today and cancelled my so called membership and they have promised to return the money in 10 days.
They had'nt even got my address only my card number which Pitch TV had given them.

SO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM PITCH TV.

My Dad has just suffered the same fate, I'm afraid.  £1.60, £39.95 and £89.95 over a short space of time.  This was through Thane Direct and they appear to have shared his account details with Classic Living. Please everybody affected contact Trading Standards and Watchdog. If this scam is happening this amount of times, even if they do refund the money they've defrauded, they are still benefiting from the interest whilst they have it in their account.  I'm also concerned that they may be targeting the vulnerable.  Please report both the TV company and Classic Living, Poundsaver or whatever they are calling themselves in your specific case.  This has to stop.

I had the sum of £99.95 took from my account for the last 2 years from this company Poundsaver and i have phoned and wrote letters and been asked for my membership number but i dont have one as i never agreed to be a member but the company has still took this money now in my book that is fraud and theft as they have falsely went into my account and took this money, when i phone to say i want my money back i just get told the same thing that i need my account number which is total rubbish, who ever it is on the phones i always ask to speak to the manager and thats when the phone goes dead on me

I phoned them today and they said they couldnt help unless i gave them my credit card details.
Fat chance !!! did anyone else give them their card details?????

i hope what i have to say will help in  respect to the company called poundsavers and having money withdrawn from their account by them.the fact is that if you have any dealings with the  tv companys bid up.. pitch world or their sister channells then you may have been sent some discount vouchers from poundsavers and if you did not reply to them to say you did not want to join their discount club then they assume you are a member'The poundstrechers club then proceed to take an annual  subscription from your bank to be a member and this is the amount people on this comment board are talking about that  is being taken from their account. I phoned the company and canccelled my membership and they gave me the money back into my account because i have not used any of the offers they supplied. So my advice to you is to phone poundstechers on the number for their company and cancell your membership with them if you do not want to be part of their dicount club
