- ArinyaMy partner bought a set of 9 'Hard and Heavy' rock CDs from a late-night advert on tv about 2 months ago. Last month, his bank rang to say someone had tried to go over his overdraft by £90. He rang POUNDSAVER and told them to cancel whatever membership he had been signed up to. Yesterday his bank paid out another £90 to the same company. He has rang them and we have been told he will be refunded by POUNDSAVER in 5-10 working days. We will see how this works out! These people are rip-off merchants who pray on people who think they are getting a good deal, and it's wrong. I will also be reporting this on the Watchdog website, and also to the police.

08000962925 £91.55 The other Classic Living UK for £39.95 Tel. No. 08000962926 No idea how they got my details except that I had bought stuff on the Shopping channel - Wicky| 1 replyI Bought my Mum some Rock n Roll Cds that were advertised on CH4, I know I ticked the box for no vouchers, £1.60 from Classic Living £1.60 from Poundsaver. These payments were taken from my debit card, I rang the bank and they claim they cant stop these payments because its Visa? So I took the easy option and cancelled the card, ok it is inconveinient for 7 days but it will stop these thieving [***] taking any more of my money. nb I have not received any vouchers or welcome pack from this company.
Be careful out there people. I Will Now EMAIL BOMB THE PARENT COMPANY!! Encore Card Marketing Limited. Sales@encorecardmarketing.com - eveJust realised they have taken out £395.20 over the past 4 years from my husbands account. He ordered cd's as a present for me from a shopping channel and knew nothing about any vouchers etc. We only discovered this was happening when the banks fraud dept phoned us to discuss an attempt by this company to take another £99.99 plus £1.60 this morning. Found this site and got the number to phone and spoke to a young man who was very helpful and told me of the other transactions that had been taken from our account since Dec 2007. Have also been in touch with the bank and together we are working on getting our money back. The address for the company is Pound Saver, 470A Palmers Green, London, N13 5PA. Hope this helps. And yes we are pensioners so this amount of money really matters.
- lyn replies to SharonI also had 1.60 followed by 99.99 took out of my bank account by these so called Pound Savers, I contacted the fraud departrment at my bank and will get my money back, this was done on November the 4th, I urge other people to do the same, they are nothing but pond life.
- roy replies to Suethis thieve also tried to take my money Iam a 75 pensioner so can somebody stop these ba------d
- NinaI have just checked my bank statement and noticed this company LEV POUND SAVER have taken 89.95 from my account, very disturbing and the fact that it appears as a card purchase is even worse, which means someone out there has my details and IS AT LIBERTY TO USE THEM, I know i did buy an eco steamer from the tv channel but what is even worse, last year i bought a paint pad pro through pitch tv and the bank confirmed the same amount was taken from my account and i didnt even notice, this is robbery without violence and this companies should not forward peoples card details to third parties unless they are all in cahoots. Trading standards should investigate the Teleshopping companies and the customer care procedures, they are liable for giving out our details an in breach of data protection. I have cancelled my card and will not use this teleshopping companies no matter how enticing their products are...if you would care to know the eco steamer is just a very expensive mop.
- lyn replies to dundee rager| 3 repliesHi there, I also had money taken out of my account by these people l.60 followed by 99.99 on the same day 4th november 2011. All you have to do is phone you bank ask for their fraud department, and let them sort it out, I had my money back in the bank the next day, dont let anyone at the bank talk you into telephoning them yourself, insist you are put through to the fraud department.

- Martin**FOR INFORMATION**
You need to report these people to your local police using the new 101 number, They will give you a CRN (Crime Reference Number) and pass it on to the Fraud department who will take some details and investigate. Once you have a CRN you need to contact your bank/credit card supplier and inform them if they dont already know. Tell them that you have reported it to the police and give them the details of your local police and you CRN. Once the investgation has been conducted by both the police and the bank, they will then issue you with a refund/credit to your account. Then they would normally issue you with a new card and block all suspicious activity from these people.- Caller: Pound Saver

I will be on the phone in the morning to my bank - Maureen replies to bevThis has just happened to me today. 2 unauthorised transactions, £1.60 Pound Saver and £1.60 Classic Living. Barclaycard rang me to advise me of unusual transactions. Card blocked. Well done Barclaycard. Bought music CD from TV channel Zestify about 1.5 weeks ago?
- PaulTried some of the advice here on behalf of my Father who has been hit by Classic Living and Poundsaver after buying a Razor from a TV Comercial.
Police (CRN) - Sadly, Wiltshire Police don't want to know unless the perps are in Wiltshire.
Bank - Lloyds have said "We know" and "Tough".
The fraud department did give us some phone numbers, but they're bothnow coming up as Unrecognised. A quick web search found poundsaveruk.co.uk which is up for sale.
Best of luck to anyone else trying to get their money back and if you find the scamming sods, please let us know :(
