I'm gettin really sick of Barclays calling me at all times of the day, when I am trying to work, and sometimes in the evening, when I am trying to relax. Either way, I don't want any bloody sales calls! I've been getting these calls twice a day for weeks (I always miss the call by seconds and they never leave a message)and didn't realise it was Barclays until I visited this site. I too am with Orange and Barclays, although I may change to another phone company and bank if this carries on.....

Never answered the number tho. luckily my phone can bounce certain numbers to my answer machine. :)

Just got a call of this number asking for my father. If it is barclays, I am annoyed as they know my father is diseased an has been for nearly 2 years and have been notified of this when I closed his accounts. They had no reason to be keeping his contact details on record especially for telesales.

I rang the number back it had a message from Barclay's saying if you do not wish to receive calls tell you branch.  I have done this several times.  The message also said to ring 08000831856 to stop un wanted calls I have completed this task.  Let's wait and see how long it is before they ring again.

Getting bloody sick of these calls now! They hae been going on for nearly 2 months!! They always call when im working so I cant answer it! I bank with Barclays but I am with 02 so no connection there. Obviously the bank have my telephone number- only the mobile mind, but i have told them i do not want marketing calls- but funnily enough these calls started shortly after i set up internet banking with them.
Will be giving the other number provided by other on here a call to try stop the calls.

i just got a random call from this number didnt answer, im with barclays but also on tesco mobile so dont think its just orange customers they call

Just got a call from this number they told me its Barclays and they wont to speak to my father-in-law he is with barclays i asked them what for they said its jsut to ask him what does he think of there servcies?

not sure if the bank normaly calls there custmers to asked them about there services?

Don't worry folks - its only Barclays...  Didn't answer as I am wary of any numbers I don't recognise then phoned back to be greeted by a friendly message.  Free to phone and free to answer and there is a number on there for you to call to be removed from their call list.
It is friendly marketing only - you are not in trouble!!

I had a call from this number several times. Wehn you ring back they say they are from barclays and give you a number to call to stp marketing calls. When you ring this number it tells you to either write to your local branch or give them your name, address, dob etc! Im not giving the MORE details! Im not even with barclays or orange.

recieve these at least 3 times a day bloody fed up with it on the phone to barclays now they say they know nothing about it do not bank with them

I'm not sure who they are but the message they left on my answering machine was contunuous heavy breathing which went on for some time. So as you can imagine, I googled the number sharpish and found this site.

recieved numerous calls from this number, not answered as i do not answer calls from numbers i do not recognise unless i am expecting it.

I'm a Barclays account holder - rarely used, albeit.
But a T-Mobile phone contract holder.

They supplied 0800 083 1856 as the number to call to stop receiving calls from "The Barclays Marketing Group"
