I keep on getting this damn call, almost 5 times today and whilst at work. I didn't know who the hell it was and a 0800 again looks kinda odd to be calling me, so I hanged up and they never leave a voice msg during the previous miss calls!  

To be honest, wtf are they calling me for after 7.30pm? like I really wanna hear their late evening sale pitches after a long days work! Barclays....[***] off and concentrate on customer service and lowering your interest rates for your services! i.e bank transfers and also cash point charges!

I would like to know who is calling and why.

They call me every day at different times, even like 8pm. 4 calls in the last 4 days. I didn't answer it the first few times as I somehow felt it was dodgy. The I found this website. I'm with Barclays but I had asked them not to contact me with any offers by phone. I'm with Three. I'm going to ask if I could get calls from this number blocked. It's annoying.

Received several calls from these guys claiming to be from Barclays and asking to speak with my wife.  I told them to stop calling but they claimed that they needed to hear it from my wife. Intend caling the Barlcays Customer Service number to try and get them to stop calling. I have had a Barclays account for 25 years and have never had these calls before so not sure why they have started pestering me now....

i got a call from this number just now as well, i'm gonna ring barclays and see if they have heard about this number, i also got a call from it at 2.26am yesterday, if someone had answered me i'd of told them to go away but not so politely, in bet you can guess what i'd of said :-)

Had the same scenario as most on here - keeps calling me and on the rare occasion i do answer theres no one there !
Im pretty sure that its barcleys ,as its my bank and seems to be every body else's on here too. Found out the reason why theres no answer - this is because it is an automated dialing system ,the damn thing just keeps ringing your number over and over, If theres an operator free on the other end then you'll be one of the (un)lucky few who wins a sale pitch of marketing drivel - if there all tied up then you'll just get nothing. Thank you again barcleys for giving me another good reason to bank with you - next time just phone me up and call me a c*nt as this would make more sense to me than trying to talk to one of your f***ing dialing machines ,.......

Hi, it's definitely Barclays calling.  Not sure why they keep phone so much though?

its Barclays Bank. I called it back and they wont take your call!!

I have been receiving calls from this number all week at various times, I got the chance to answer my telephone today and it was Barclays offering some sort of personal insurance. nothing to worry about, just a standard marketing call.
If this number rings you, and you don't want to speak to them just kindly tell them you are not interested. Hope this helps.

I have been receiving calls from this number for weeks now! It all started from one call a day, but now they are calling me almost every hour!!! It's so annoying!
How can you stop receiving those calls? Anybody? :)

I had the same call, background noise, call lasted about a minute, no-one said anything...strange

someone called mark from barclays called me on my parents phone asking for me but dont know how they got his number as i never give anyones number out with out asking so i phoned barclays bout 18:40ish uk time and he did,nt even want to know number

with barclays, but t-mobile rather than orange. but still a ball ache. y shud I have to call them to get them 2 stop callin me, is pathetic!

i get this calling me all the time..well annoying.
Im gonna do what that guy said earlier and go to the bank and get them to stop.

Have just missed 3 calls in the space of 2 hours from this number. . .I bank with Barclays but am not on Orange - thanks to all for the help, will assume its Barclay's and ignore it in the future. . .

Received this call while at work, and heard a womans voice (clearly distracted and talking to someone else). Hung up.

Probably Barclays, like others have suggested.

Do these people never quit???I have had a 6 missed calls from this number in the past two hours alone..How do I stop it short of answering the call and telling them to go fourth and multiply???

Must be Barclays as all my flat-mates are with Lloyds and not bothered by such annoying phone calls.
