Put my complaint in last week, got an automated e-mail response telling me they were dealing with it and would reply within two working days.

That e-mail arrived at 08.00 on Friday.  The start of the first of those two working days.  Monday came and went, Tuesday and now Wednesday and no response.  Mind you no more calls (although that is probably because I was only set to be hassled by them for last week).

I was called by this number. Didn't answer the first time, but they called again so I answered.

It turned out to be BT / Openreach following up about a broadband fault I had been having. They were planning to arrange an engineer to come out but after discussion of where the fault was it was decided that there was no need because the fault was resolved.

So, from my point of view, a legitimate call and one that I would very much have wanted to have received had the fault still been happening.

For goodness sake, there's no conspiricy theory! It's just BT contacting you for whatever reason. If it's Marketing Call just tell them in acordance with the Data Protection Act to remove their number from their Call List. Otherwise pick up the call, there is a reason they are ringing and it might just benefit you!

The caller only rings about four times then hangs up !!! I am so fed up as I get to the phone they ring off before I have chance to answer it every day this week and sometimes twice a day please who ever it is give up I do have other things more important to do.

I was dealing with a call from BT with a broadband fault. I asked them to call my mobile and when they did, it was this number that popped up.

I just received a phone call from this number. I had earlier reported a fault on my BT landline and they were just calling me back to inform me of what action they were taking.

It's not fair to say calls always come in from Indian Call Centres as there are centres in Dundee, Cardiff and alness who do the same. if u get another call from em dnt panic-remember who have nothing to fear (Unless u hav smthin hidden in da closet).

Just answer the call n ull c its absolutely harmless

This number has rung me twice in the past 24 hours and left no message; I believe it is BT cold calling and I want them to leave me alone.

Phoned at 00.15am in the morning

I receive calls daily fromm this number. Like many people on here, I don't answer, because 1) my landline doesn't have caller display, and 2) i'm not expecting the call. If it's the real deal, they would leave a message. I never call back, either. If it is BT (as mentioned by some), then why haven't they sent written correspondence to confirm that they've been trying to get in contact with me?

yeah its BT, when calling back i got the "hello, its BT, we tryed calling you, if its important we'll call back" schpeil.  BT piss me off, the amount of times they've rang me asking if i'd like to have my calls with them in the last 6 months is ridiculous, and each time i tell them i dont want to go back to them and to remove me from their marketing list. They obviously dont do this EVERY time ives asked them. Its beginning to be a harrassment... whos the ombudsman/watchdog for these pricks.

Sick of them calling, mostly between 20.00 & 21.00hrs in evenings. Sometimes no-one answers, if they do, they claim to be from BT then procede to ask if I have a BT line, I always reply if you're from BT you tell me, the normal reply is 'I don't have your details on screen at the moment',to this I reply 'I suggest you consult your records and stop bugging me'

this caller has called and twice and i don't know who they are!! And im only twelve.

I've had several of these calls now over the past week, sometimes 2 a day. When I did answer, some Indian bloke asked for someone called Darren but with my surname. I told them they had the wrong number and hung up! If this is BT why don't they know my name????

Im at my wits end with this bloody number, I have been called up to and OVER 20 times a day for the past two weeks! When im at work the answering machine picks up, and when i answer when im home there is no one there. Im registered with TPS and serviceguard and i also have caller display. My broadband and calls are all with BT. I have called BT wanting this to stop according to them, its a sales call, How the hell can they try selling me something when i have TPS? Does BT believe its above the law???

My answerphone picked up this call and recorded the caller's number - 08003289393.  No message was left.

Just been called by this number. It was a courtesy call from BT checking that the problem I had a week or so ago with my modem was still OK. Seemed perfectly genuine.

To all you BT workers who have posted here trying to defend your jobs!!!

Why do you keep calling without having my details available, it makes you look like a bunch of idiots, not a company that I would do business with.

Your call centre did not even know the name on the account the number was registered to.

I hope you forget your customers details as easily when you send out the bill.
