I have just typed this number in to 'saynoto0870.com' and it says it is a Setanta number??? Called it back and the recorded message says it is a call from One Touch who call on behalf of BT, EDF Energy, Some collections company and Setanta and if they need to contact you again they will get in touch and the call ends. May be a bit more legit than I first thought as I do subscribe to Setanta but I'm still phoning the 0191 number.

08004082680 keep phoning so I decided to keep phoning the 2touch main switch board and not talk to them (funny they got really annoyed) when I did finally introduce myself I was told I was being childish but I havent heard from them since.

Just phoned T: +44 (0)191 525 7000 to complain about constant calls from 08004082680 .. was told that they are within OfCom rules as BT have the right to phone you as it is in the agreement. She said she looked up my number and has removed me.. time will tell.. She also gave me the BT number for nuisance calls..I shall phone them tomorrow and see what they have to say about this company.

I'm TPS registered and 2Touch called me this evening. The company name is Acxiom Ltd and 2 Touch is just their trading name.  The guy said he was 'calling on behalf of BT to offer me discounts on a broadband package'.  I've just logged a formal complaint with the Information Commission using their on-line complaint form.

i've been having these calls at least twice a day for four days now. whenever i answer they hang up. when i dialled 1471, and tried to call them back, i get an automated voice saying they are 'two-touch' or '2touch' representing BT/EDF/Satanta.
not only is is inconvenient, its rude.
i have a speech problem, and so answring the phone is very difficult, to then have someone hang up and waste that effort is rude and very annoying.

just  rang the 0191 number... got through to a man who said he would put me through to a department, or if they were not there, a automated service to get my number removed from the call list.
the line went silent for three minutes.
no redirecting ringing or typcial music etc.
now wondering if i was being charged... not happy.
im calling BT.

Called in afternoon no message left. Concerned because follows calls from supposedly BT number (different form this one)re: disconnecting our line. BT know nothing about it & assure us that it won't be disconnected. Looking online 0800408 appears to be allocated to Telewest

I answered a call from this number. They asked for me by name.  They said they were calling from BT, and had been doing some work to improve my line quality. Wanted to know whether I had noticed an improvement in my broadband speed (I haven't), whether I'd had any loss of service (don't think so), and which ISP I was with.  By this point I was expecting them to try to make me switch to BT broadband, but they just said "Thank you for your help" and hung up.

I started getting this number calling me five times a day shortly after changing my service provider to Scottish and southern. I have caller display and don`t answer unknown numbers.
According to OFCOM if a company or person makes cold calls more than twice a day they can be fined thousands of pounds for doing so.

I answered a call and a male guy apologised and said it was a wrong number? Did a 1471 and got this 08004082680 and when googled brought this page up. Thanks to Kerry 8th July 2008 I called 2touch and they happily took my number off their list. 600 people work in that building and thats 60,000 calls a day - I hope one of them is not you!!!

I keep receiving dead calls from 0800 408 2680

These call me at least 5 times a day. They are driving me crazy AHHHHHHHH

Dead call received from 0800 408 2680 today at 15:00 just when I'd walked in from work and sat down with a coffee.

Answered call from this number today at 1643, they knew my name and told me they were from BT. They have apparently been upgrading the lines in my area, so i may be eligible to get faster internet. Shame I'm in a 12 month contract with another provider.

Just recived a call from this number. Did not answer as I didn't recognise the number but seems as if they have started up again. I subscribe to TPS but it seem to work in this case.

Getting these calls nearly every week sometimes three times per week. I do not even pick the phone up now

Silent calls

They have called 17 times so far and I am sooo angry. What they do is they get you to answer the phone and pretend you agreed to leave BT and go over to them.

Just had a call from them. They are trying to sell BT Vision. When I told them to stop calling the woman just hung up
