I got a silent call from this number a couple of times. Yet today the problem was solved, it was a BT call centre in Sunderland offering me BT Vision because I already have BT Broadband. So this is it!

I get these calls about 3 or 4 times a day.  If you call 2Touch on 0191 525 7000 and ask them to remove your number from the call list they will do it immediately. Hope this helps.

Called me today 3 times already and its only 1:30pm also called 4 times yesterday and i'm off work with flu!Last thing i want is the landline ringing constantly!!GRRRRRR!!!

It might be of interest to others here that have been plagued, like me, that indeed they are breaking the law. The law in question is the Unsolicited Goods and Services Act 1971. I used it to get rid of some obnoxious characters a while ago that were ringing me, claiming that I had agreed to take out advertising in some mythical wall planner, then threatening me with 'sending the boys round' if I did not pay them an extortionate amount.
Thankfully, these slime are now history. Perhaps if 2 Touch were advised of this Law, they might learn the error of their ways.

I have been receiving silent calls several times a day from 08004082680 which has been extremely distressing as I have a severe mental illness.

Thanks to Wildweasel (above) I have just rang 0191 525 7000 and they assured me my number would be removed immediately.

I have also complained to Ofcom.

I run a business from home, and this number has been pestering me for the last few weeks.   I use my mobile for business calls, both making and receiving, if my landline rings, I dont answer it if I dont recognise the number.  Its annoying me now, as my father in law is dying in hospital, and every time the phone rings, I expect it to be my husband telling me his Dad has passed, but of course, every time I check the phone, its this damn number.

I answered the phone, then they hang up.

I've received several calls from 0800 408 2680 over the last few days.
I've just logged a complaint about them to OFCOM. As other people have said the more who log a complaint about them the sooner it will get investigated, click on there web page link at the top of this page and complete it (only takes 2 minutes).

received a call from this number, saying they were from setanta sport and checking my account was ok.  I said it was, she checked and confirmed it was.  I passed on no info other than confirming my name.

Stupid phone calls...... no-one at the other end caller was 08004082680 I rang the number below they have removed me from the list

Just had a silent call from this number and Googled it.

Everyone is complaining about these calls that they continue recieve.
These cold callers are only there to do a job, they have to earn a living somehow.... and are only out to try and make life cheaper and easier for you, whether its selling call plans or broadband e.t.c , because unlike most of you, I have better things to do with my time than to cry like babies on a website about getting "cold callers", im sending this during working hours. IF YOU HAVE TIME TO COMPLAIN TO OFCOM, AND ON THIS WEBSITE, THEN TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN TO A COLD CALLER WHO IS %99.9 OF THE TIME JUST TRYING TO HELP!!

I took the time to listen to a call from someone at 2touch, and it turned out to be one of the greatest calls Ive ever recieved,it saved me a fortune not only on my calls but also on my line rental. I was absolutely delighted with the service and efficiency of the young lady whom I spoke with, unfortunately I cant remember her name to thank her publically.
I find it extremely hard to believe that anyone who has contact with 2touch has had bad service or constant bombardment with calls.
Thanks for changing my life for the better!!

Person trying to flog me BT Vision, I politely repeated 3 times "I'm not interested thank you" and was sarcastically dismissed - how does someone saying "thank you for your time" manage to make it sound so nasty??!

This company have been calling me today. I have now registered my number with TPS, it will take 28 days but at least it will put an end to these type of calls. If this doesn't work you can always report the company to:
