i keep getting calls from this number
it's really pissing me off
why can't these company's be fined for nuisance calls
it's harrassment

Getting calls 3 or 4 times a day for the past week. Most calls silent when answered. When there is someone on the other end they claim to be from Setanta sports and claim there is a problem with my account. Have called Setanta cust services on a different number. They claim there is no problem and have no logs of these calls and they have no idea where the 08004082680 comes from !

We have received many calls from this number. It's BT Sales trying to get us to sign back up with them. I got the offer of free calls with BT if we went back to them. BT have adopted quite an aggressive cold calling technique aimed at previous customers, which personally would be me right off signing back up with them.

This number has called twice and hung up

My answer machine had six calls from them today.

Have had numerous calls from this number in the past few weeks.

We never answer as I Googled the number after the first call and came across this site.

What I dont know is how these guys got my number as it has been ex-directory from Day 1.

Getting calls to our ansa phone up to 5 times a day for the last few days, they dont leave a message, twice when we answered it was an automated message saying to win a vip holiday press 9!!

We didnt take any chances and hung up. Like Johnny Watt we are ex directory and are registered with TPS, cant understand how they got the number?

Used to have these calls regularly but just answered call and left line open. Thought it might be fun for them to listen to my madhouse!  They have just started calling again up to 5 times a day.  Just ignoring them, or disconnecting them immediately.

This number is a persistent caller. on answering, either by answering machine or personally, the phoner hangs up. Its extremely annoying - 3 times already today. Calling the number is pointless as either the engaged or unobtainable tone resuslts.
I have registered a complaint with ofcom at http://ofcom.org.uk/complain/landline/nuisance
They will monitor the number of complaints and take action if enough are made. Do go to the site and add yours.

may people seem to suggest this number is BT, and some have said Setanta, did not read all pages so maybe other companies mentioned, its probably an outsource centre who makes calls for various other companies.

I've been called alot from them recently, there is nothing up with my BT account so its not that, but I did last month put in my notice with setanta, so its probably them calling to offer me a deal.

This number has phoned to me too. Last two days, four times a day almost at the same hours. I don't believe that that they started doing it again! Definitely will complain!

i get lots of annoying silent calls from this number, and yesterday they rang me at 6.15pm while my new born baby was screaming and i hadnt slept for 3 days. i was delerious and kept saying i couldn't deal with the 'bt package' they fervently kept offering me, without my other half's consent (he knows more about this stuff than i do). But after having them constantly ramble on at high speed everytime they heard the baby screaming, i agreed just to get them off the phone. when telling my other half, he hit the roof and tried to ring them back, but only got some answerphone that gave you some company name and you couldn't speak to anyone.

which led us here. retrieved the phone number from this site and now awaiting a reply from the manager, who was very surprised we had got hold of the number! but i won't hold my breath!!

yeah they told me it was setanta, wanting to know why i was cancelling, when i wasn't. he then sounded flustered, told me there was an error on his computer, said he would call back. since then all i've had is silent calls.

08004082680 has been calling me for the last few days when I wasn't in. Finally I answered a call from them this evening. It was a silent call. Called the number back and got a recorded message saying the call was from 2 Touch and they were calling me about premium services from BT and EDF Energy.
I have previously registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) so should not be receiving unsoilicited calls. I registered a complaint with the TPS. They sent a document which says:
'The law says that UK organisations should not make unsolicited direct marketing calls to individuals or businesses who have registered their telephone number with the Telephone Preference Service or the Corporate Telephone Preference Service'. Sounds to me like they are breaking the law !

this number calls me at least 5 times a week do not answer it .it is a scam also tps seems to let this number through.

Hung up the first time they rang after telling them I was not interested in Bt offers, rang back twice since...

Got a silent call from these vermin today. Great that this site has the name and address of the company - 2Touch. Have registered complaints at TPS and Ofcom :-)
