Report a phone call from 08004082680 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- D ShollHave had 6 calls every day for a week. I answered it the first time and told them to go away and the next thing I knew BT phoned and asked why we had cancelled our phone with them which we had not. I have ignored all calls since.
- Caller: 08004082680
- mark hororcksnumber has rung a few times but phone caller rings off whenever I answer
- Caller: no idea
- BlurtWhile everyone else wasat work today, my elderly, registered blind mother has been distressed to have these calls every five minutes, all day.
This evening, when I got back, the phone rang again - silent call. I 1471'd it and it was 0800 4082 680.
I rang up BT's 'nuisance calls helpline' and reported it as a nuisance call. They tried to sell me a "choose to refuse" service- to block the number. Gave me instructions on how to dial it in on a "28 day free trial". Dial it in tomorrow, the guy said.
A couple of hours later the phone rang again. Somebody from BT trying some gimmick to get me to switch over from Tiscali to BT for calls and broadband.
I wasn't buying, but I 1471'd the call: you guessed it: 0800 4082680....
Now let's get this straight. BT is making cold calls to the extent they become "nuisance calls" and then try to flog you a service to stop them???
And there isn't a law against that??? - AllieComplain to ofcom. They've just fined Barclaycard for silent calls so it's worth doing. They say:
If you continue to receive silent or abandoned calls and your network or service provider is unable to assist, please contact Ofcom’s Contact Centre to register a complaint:

If after complaining once you still get calls - ring him and then just leave your phone on the side!! - FFC foreverI have been receiving calls from this number now on a regular basis. Each time the caller hangs up.
Several months ago I was having the same problem with another company doing the same thing. Thankfully this great website had loads of people complaining and actually listed the company. I discovered their website and sent repeated emails to every email address they had listed saying I would swamp them with these until the calling stopped.
It very quickly solved the problem.
So go onto the website of this company; www.2touch.co.uk and bombard all departments with emails until they remove your number.
One email address to start with is; info@2touch.co.uk
Let them know how annoying it is to receive unwanted contact.
IT IS CALLED GETTING ONE'S OWN BACK !!
GOOD LUCK...........- Caller: 2touch
- twocheyCalled the 0191 number after a series of calls from 2touch as suggested. I got a call back from 2touch to ask why I was calling and leaving the call silent. I asked if they found my unsolicited calls annoying and explained that they have pages of bad publicity on whocallsme.com and should really get their act sorted. The woman I talked with just laughed and hung up!
I suggest that as many people as possible do the same and their management will eventually get the message! Power to the people......- Caller: 2touch
- Fed UpBeen driving me mad for ages. running a small business ive got better things to be doing.

- DianneHave just rung the 0191, and said that I had just been rung by an 0800 number...before I said anything else, the operator responded with 'I'll put you through to someone else, to remove you from the database'......she must have read my mind....! or receive an awful lot of calls....! A very polite young lady then took my number and agreed to take it off their database...on querying where they had actually got my number from...she said she would run a check and phone me back with that info.......I await with interest.
With all the suggestions made by others to inundate, this number with calls or e.mails, I really can't see the point...it's the employees who get those....not the management, who make the policies.....! just phone the 0191 number and get rid of them....!
Dianne - DianneHave just been rung back by the very nice young lady who had ran a check on whom they were calling on behalf.....and........!!!!!! Surprise....Surprise...it was B.T....so why have I bothered registering with TPS.....!?

- RossDefinately on behalf of BT.
Just had a guy on trying to sell me BT Vision as I am a BT Broadband customer.
I will say he wasn't as pushy as some of the marketing calls I've had. Quite decent, and knew all about the BT Product.
Also I assume 2Touch is correct, the guy had a Sunderland accent.- Caller: 2Touch / BT
